Healing solo shuffle basically made me go blind with rage, and my hair all fell out.

I found Mists of Pandaria the most fun AND relaxing expansion, personally.
These days I do my best to do just chill and do my own thing as best I can but the game is definitely no where near as relaxing for me as it used to be.
Professions especially went from a very chill activity to a mixed bag of anxiety and boredom.
When I quest through old stuff, it’s fun! I’d do that more, but I’m replaying Skyrim and experiencing LOTRO right now, and that leaves me with only the time to do weeklies, look around, join an LFR Run and get off!
Huh, that last part sounds questionable…
yup.
right up until I make the mistake of getting involved with other players. lol.
As long as I keep my game pretty much solo, its very relaxing and enjoyable
Nah, if I want relaxing I’ll play Stellaris or Civ VI
Oh wow, you’re my spirit animal. I loved Mists of Pandaria so much too and I found it the most fun. I am actually been inactive for a long time and back from MoP. So far Dragonflight has been a blast for me and everything is refreshing and relaxing unlike the previous expansions that ive tried
Rarely see another Stellaris player in the wild. Though I have to disagree. Maintaining a constant state of galactic warfare is quite taxing.
Outside of hurriedly grinding valor before it all becomes obsolete, yes.
yes and no.
for me right now it’s 50/50. being a new parent i can’t expect to do much nor do i expect so i just play, if i gotta afk any time for w.e. reason i go afk. it’s boring in that sense but nothing i can really do about it but also relaxing because being a new parent for myself isn’t easy. don’t know wth im doing, worried, stressed, etc…
prior to being a parent? not so much. people constantly fighting for w.e. reason, trying to do content i get declined for cause i don’t have achievements to steamroll said content or a super high ilvl, all the while trying to juggle content i want to do such as raiding into my work schedule. i work as a cook so that means i mainly work nights but im trying to find a new cooking job that allows me to work mornings which is extremely hard where i live. almost always taken and if not then pays lower then working as a night cook. literally can find a job as a night cook in 1-2 days where as a day cook not so easy. some places are not very serious about hiring. actually just got hired at one that yesterday basically told me i was let go because they decided to stop doing breakfast since not so many customers came in for breakfast. gave me the option to work nights of course but i’ve worked nights so long already im over it.
When I’m not focused on end game, yes it can be relaxing at times.
There are sometimes little things that get in the way though like when a mob pops (or some kind of other effect) when herbing or mining. Those herbing/mining node mob spawns (or other effects) are like when someone startles me awake when I’m trying to relax. They’re irritating. I know the mobs that spawn from the Legion gathering modes drop extra herbs or ore, but that doesn’t make me any less grouchy about them interrupting my attempt to relax by flying around doing mining/herbing/pet battles.
Ye. You can very easily play in a way that is identifiably play completely without stress or pressure, the only question is whether or not you find those activities that don’t require the pressure of playing “well” fun.
I don’t play WoW to relax. I play WoW to focus on something other than IRL for however many hours I can get away with. 99% of the time when I play, I’m focused on accomplishing or doing something and not just looking to sit and stare at a sunset or something.
To me, relaxing is something where your focus is on doing nothing or doing some kind of passive activity like watching TV or a movie.
Yea I usually smoke when I’m playing games so I’m usually pretty relaxed when I play… I can get tense in Arenas and solo shuffle.
It’s relaxing when i pick herbs, but not so much when i play BGs. lol
depends on if i’m visiting goldshire or not.
