Potion master is where it’s at.
yep, that’s what I did. Went 39 days with no procs on transmute. Potion master procs like crazy.
Because they’ve all gone potion master thanks to meta’s and primals tanking for the time being.
ur gonna make thousands more very soon, of gold, the resistance potions are gonna be making u bank ><, elixir is overburdened with masters on my server i feel.
I would like to add, my T4 shoulders drop rate also seems to be bugged. I’ve run Gruuls every week for 3 months and not seen them once. I understand that statistically speaking this is a possibility but it seems like the token just isn’t there. My alts’s raid seems to get them almost every week, so I figured maybe its just broken for me? Please send help
Alchemy is definitely a bust in this game. It’s so flooded that there’s no market for selling anything and I can’t even make the flask I want to raid with because it’s on a god damn discovery proc. I’ve made about 1,000 elixirs and not procced ANY flasks. I also have a potion master but no one cares about protection potions in this game. They’re worth far less than the primals/thistle used to make them.
In order for alchemy to be worth anything here, you need to either ding a good discovery proc or get a recipe worth 500-1,000g.

I have all masteries too. I get plenty of procs making elixirs/potions but don’t discover anything. The transmute char however rarely gets anything. It’s been the most disappointing. When I go to wrath and only take up 2 alchemists; transmute will be the one that gets cut.

No one needs consumes because theres a grand total of maaaybe 2 hours of raids a week. Wait for next phase and they’re gonna go waaaay up
Potion master is haste/destruction pots too. If you get the right pattern it can be very profitable
I dunno, they were like 1/4 that earlier… I guess you snooze you loose. The idea isn’t to make a huge profit off every potion, though that’s nice too. The idea is to maximize the value of your procs when they do happen. A 3x proc on a mana pot is an extra 4g. On a haste pot, its an extra 20g. But particularly on a potion master, the smart people just made a whole mess of cheap resellable pots to proc discoveries. You’re probably not going to get much off a hundred crafts…
Enchanting isn’t a bad choice… but you’ll find its going to be much much different in 2-3 weeks. The Alchemy stone is also arguably BIS for priests in P5, but ymmv. I agree the discoveries are kinda wonky but most people I know who really went after that ended up with most of them in the first couple weeks

I switched off of transmute spec around the 15th straight xmute with no proc. At least with potion master I get free mana pots sometimes.

I was 350 transmute master on week 1. Since then I had only 3 procs of 2x Primal Might. Just one of Blizzard’s classic “carrot on a stick” bugged random chances. It will be improved in Wrath. This game will be pleasant to play only in Wrath.
