Just curious if anyone else is having an issue where Transmuting on CD and not getting any Procs as a Transmutation Master?
So far I have Transmuted Primal Might for the past 3 weeks straight and not seen a single proc. I understand that statistically speaking this is a possibility but it seems like the proc chance just isn’t there. During the first 2 weeks I would Craft Meta Gems and about every 4th or 5th day I would get a proc.
Last I checked Primals should have a chance of proccing unless that is added in at a later phase?
proc rate on primal might seems to be lower than meta gems but that could just be sample bias.
Got a double proc on a guildies might 2 days ago so it not bugged.
I get x2 procs quite often for primal might. Never seen anything higher though.
Same, I’ve gotten over a 20% proc rate on my cooldowns overall but never seen anything more than x2.
Not bugged, just very low chance.
I dont know if it makes a difference but when you learn transmutation master, you actually have 2 alchemy buttons in your spellbook, make sure your clicking on the xmute master one.

I’m just lucky I guess I’ve been a transmute master for like 5 days and I’ve already got 3 procs and a discovery in those days too. As the saying goes random is random. Even if it was a 1 in 5 proc chance you could do 50+ and not get a proc.
it doesnt make a difference. Had procs off the normal alch button, infact I havent even touched the transmute mastery button.
Like you said, it’s pure rng. I’ve had 2-3 day streaks of no procs, then 2-3 days of constant procs.
Easiest way to find out the percentage chance of xmute procs is to burn a heap of arcanite xmutes but nobody has the time or gold to do that.
I went 3+ weeks with only 1 primal might xmute proc, swapped to elixir master and havnt looked back.

I went potion master.
I can for sure say that potion master is not bugged.
I have made thousands.
i guarantee it’s sample bias. if you go transmute mastery, prepare for a week+ of daily no procs.
5 primal might xmutes every day for about 3 weeks now. I’ve gotten a hand full of procs. Mostly X2. One X5.
I personally think the proc rate of primal might is terrible. It has been 3 weeks and I only got X2 proc twice and X3 proc once. I am planning to switch to potion or elixir master after I purchase my epic flying mount.
how are you doing 5 primal might transmutes a day. do you have 5 alchemist alts
I have two xmute master characters. Combined i have probibly done 18 xmutes (Since spec) and gotten 2 procs. One for 2X and 1 for 4X.
All the info i found on wowhead and such for back in the day is that the proc odds are roughly 15-20% or so and the overall long-term gain is roughly 33-50% extra. (Due to 3x 4x and 5x procs). Meaning after 100 xmutes you should have roughly 140 or so primals.
I get you can do whatever you want, but why go transmutation spec and give away the transmutes?
This is one sweaty player right here. Already has 5 level 68 alchemist alts. One may be a main. That is 20 Primal Might used to become masters. Props to you sir.
recently switch to transmute master, my first proc is x5, 2nd x3 and 3rd is x2. You got a really bad rng is probably what it is.
Because I couldn’t be bothered farming and on my server if you don’t proc you don’t profit if you buy the matts.
Normally I’d just keep it to myself by skyfire market has slown down to a crawl and Mights are cheaper to buy than the matts sell for.
