I mean yeah. It is pretty cut and dry tbh.
Saurfang was a true Orc. He knew that blow was dishonourable and he did not accept that as a victory.
You can’t say that about Thrall. Thrall will take all Victories and ask us to clap for him.
Do you have any? It’s your thread.
The only agreed to rule for that fight was to the death .
Elements didn’t abbandon Thrall. His doubts made it so he couldn’t communicate with them .
Depends on how you want to look at it.
Even Garosh said to him. He is not a true warrior.
In the cinematic every one left with Garosh was the tru me hordes Warchief. You can check the YouTube comments.
Agreed upon weapons, however, are. Thrall showed up with the Doomhammer. That was his weapon for the battle. Then hallway through, he decided “Screw the rules, I’m Metzen’s special boy!” And whips out his shaman powers.
nothing was agreed on we did not get to see that part
It’s a basic tenant of Mak’gora.
ok by that then hellscream would have cheated also using fist
I hear he can still drop a windfury totem that procs windfury on windfury procs. Definitely cheating.
except that is not what happened at all.
he couldve killed anduin easily many times over by now. i feel like he shouldve actually.
doesnt strike me as a cheater, he’s about fair fights only apparently.
Straight from the Makgora lore page…
" he rules of a Mak’gora seem to be different between each Mak’gora since they are chosen and set by the participants themselves. Generally, there are thus no specific rules. There are only two consistent themes in all Mak’gora: once dropped, a weapon cannot be retrieved by either opponent and that the pair must fight to the death or until submission. Magic for example, has never been stated to be forbidden, and has, in fact, been used in multiple Mak’gora duels and thus seems to be permitted. Similarly, many Mak’gora duels have involved both fighters wearing body armor as well, but it can also be forbidden when explicitly required."
Yes, even the elements recognized that he cheated. He got bad karma and can’t his elemental mojo up and lost his hammer. He also left the Horde to hang out with his Alliance friends so I would call that cheating also.
Except that is not what happened at all. He lost his powers because of his self doubt. He just groomed a young ork to take his place and now he had to kill him. Had nothing to do with Cheating. He doubted himself and his place in the horde and the elements were like “bet when you get right we will talk” and bounced.
IE just like his teacher Drek Thar. He was ashamed of his choice to go to the warlocks. And the Elementals left him because of his shame and doubt.
what a loser
The doubt can also come from cheating, having doubt in the actions he did can mean a lot. He knows he did wrong.
That is true, but that is not where the doubt came from. It came from the fact that he had to kill the son of his mentor and best friend. The boy he was grooming to be a leader. He thought everything that Garrosh did was his fault.
That is literally what Saurfang was chastising him for when during BFA.
There is absolutely zero evidence Thrall cheated.
Mostly because there are no rules to Mak’Gora other than “whatever the two people agree to”
If he didn’t use the elements the elements wouldn’t have forsaken him that was a direct thing that happened.
