Yesterday when I heard Metzen interview he she some light on how he wanted to develop Thrall.
Then I went and watched Thrall vs Garrosh fight where he finishes him.
Garosh says he wasn’t ready for the warchiefs position.
This made me think why exactly did Thrall hand over such a position to someone who is not diplomatic ?
Only makes sense to let him fall In own pit and Thrall can take him out of the way.
I never liked Thrall and his diplomacy since the beginning.

In my opinion Thrall is not only a cheater but also a coward. He would take the easy way out instead of stand his ground.
Just like he did in Makgora.

Agreed the cinematic did not show if rules were agreed upon.
But Makgora is held between two combatants and other orcs are witness to judge no one is breaking the rules.
If other orcs were present they would call out Thrall for using magic.
Mak’gora is usually witnessed by other Orcs, who serve as both audience and judges, ensuring that the duel is conducted fairly and that the outcome is respected.

You’re telling me Anduin was last seen in the Maw and then when Thrall wanted to speak to him he knew Anduin was staring at nothing in the middle of a desert? Nah, Thrall meta-gamed.

Like, its some weird faulty honor. It should be about who is the strongest period. Not, who is the strongest in a ruleset that clearly advantages people who dont rely on magical abilities.
