Looked pretty suspicious, those boomies are stacked one on top of the other. The fact that the targeting was rather inhuman too. Looked like a FAT case of botting
It was earlier in SL I remember.
Just a matter of viewing their behavior, but anyway, if you suspect botting there, just report them.
Bots it looks like
Oh that well ,could be there are several spots in that area they farm . Just leave them be they’re not interfering with quests.
They also stack up like this in the house of the chosen hallway area, blizz doesn’t care about obvious bots because they can’t afford to lose those subs.
True. Since BfA I’ve gotten no ingame mail anymore with confirmation that action has been taken despite reporting so many of them… they must have given up or choose to ignore it.
Any point with a hyperspawn can be a bot spot.
Blizzard @ hyperspawns: “You were supposed to bring balance to the force, not destroy it!”
But yeah, the etherworm spawns are a notorious spot for them
Yeah, hyperspawn would be the best definition. I observed them, respawning instantly and the boomies targeting at an inhuman speed. Kinda like that classic tactic that got banned with the boomkins using scroll wheel to target and moonfire instead of tab or caps lock.
They’re at it again . It’s amazing how much you will actually find these possible bots when farming for herbs.
I’m seeing a lot of druids skinning mobs in the same area of Korthia everyday, around where those bear-like creatures spawn. Not sure if they’re bots, they’re just always farming bears.
They’ll always be at it.
There was one spot in Vol’dun during BfA where one botter I believe never logged out the entire expansion. Any time I would go by there leveling an alt or to do a WQ or just flying over, they were there. Early AM Saturday, midnight, any time. 24/7
I’m convinced anyone still defending them are the ones botting. It’s not multiboxing, it’s botting. You can tell by their actions it’s not a person controlling them.
That… AND… I came across a stream of a gold farmer who was out doing one of these boomy farms, and he was… quite clearly running an automated program. Because he had multiple accounts running in multiple locations on different monitors and he wasn’t even looking. He was on his laptop doing something else. 100% botting.
Still playing. Still doing Youtube content. Blizz doesn’t care.
No telling if they are true bots. I just post the img and the map so Blizzard can remain aware of the spots where the bots are conglomerating
I don’t see many driuds in korthia skin on my server mostly a demon hunter and my druid and I don’t stay there long.
They are definitely bots. 1 of the 3 seemed legitimate by their targeting rate. The other 2 were targeting at an extreme rate (even targeting me in their rotation with WM off lol). They are either using scroll wheel to target or Razer software (to register tab as a 20-25+ presses per second) - still didn’t make sense that I was getting targeted with WM off? They definitely aren’t spasming or having a seizure click targeting everything that fast…
I like to drop a Turnip on them.
I like bot farms like that, good place to just sit back and drop an aoe every now and then to take advantage of their hard work.
LOL I find those and harrass them with cushions and clickable toys.
You can 1000% get them stuck and force them to log off.
Or they looked into it and you were incorrect in your assumption.
Wonder if you could flag for pvp, get them to moonfire you or something, then game on!
If not, toy-harassment could work. Sounds like fun.
Yep, just check out the map guys; those 2 spots are the spots I have found the robots for harassment.
