Ty for that screenshot. Helps me explain the situation better. If anyone’s got a really ridiculous one that backs up the multiple hour wait times (especially near peak hours) that would be awesome.

Back in 8.0 I managed to get a chaos bolt to hit 80k, wouldn’t be shocked to hear it can possibly one-shot now. Especially if you have 3 crashing chaos stacked.

Even though I disagree with the removal of stat templates, I could understand people’s points about it taking away progression at max level.

But I think they can apply stat templates to low level BGs so it ignores gear/enchants/gems etc. That way levelers won’t complain about people outgearing them and twinks will have better queue times. I think it’s a better solution than just straight up blocking people off from instanced PvP.

The way scaling works it’s not possible… My main que buddy last season was a destro lock. Literally never one shot someone ever. I think 90% was the closest he ever did but he still needed to cast a second bolt.

Twinks are one shotting with 25% or more overkill. It’s not compareable.

Agreed and has been suggested but twinks didn’t want their precious one shots going away so a lot of them said no thank you :roll_eyes:

Keep in mind that a lot of people are leveling KT/Zandalari right now, or playing max.

Still an abnormally abysmal time though. Makes it seem even more likely this is a bug.

While I’m sure most twinks twink for the sake of stomping people, I do believe there is a community of folks that just prefer to PvP at certain brackets.

They have templates from Legion, I don’t think it would be all too difficult to apply them.

Just so we’re clear, are you insinuating that’s it’s cool for a low-cooldown, rotational ability to one shot (or near one shot) players because it’s technically possible to prevent it under certain circumstances?

Is it wise to be posting on a twink hunter while you spout this off?

Unfortunately the twinks don’t want templates. It interferes with stomping on the undergeared…erm…I mean “being able to choose your own stats”

Templates did have that flaw though, some specs rely on certain secondaries very heavily, and they were disadvantaged by templates since they couldn’t just stack their one stat.

Like Fire Mages couldn’t just stack loads of crit, they only got a set amount. Not being able to choose stats was a legitimate problem, not just for twinks.

Who were these twinks who didn’t want better balance? I guess I missed the threads with them saying “no thank you”.

I feel like this is a bug and with all patches we get bugs. This one probably isn’t a high priority fix.
