You do realize there are new players who don’t have heirlooms etc and are initially missing helmets other gear as they are levelling ? I was one of them few months back .

I would be perfectly understanding if they simply said - Hey we’re doing this guys, sorry! (signed Blizzard)… but they didn’t. Granted, GRANTED, this could be a bug… but it doesn’t feel like a bug. It’s too much of a coincidence that it feels like the way it used to be. I don’t care what the community wanted, because the community wants easier, and will always ask for easier. The community isn’t what’s pissing me off about this.
What pisses me off about is the fact that once again, they have betrayed the trust with their player base by sliding something under the door without telling the community. I mean again, GM’s have literally said this was not intentional. GMs have physically said this was not intended… but if you did twinking back when they did this before you will know it felt very similar to this.
I’m more annoyed that instead of trying a different fix, they destroyed an entire community of players who have an entire website set up so we can group with other people who level lock. THAT is what makes me furious. That why would have the gall to simply throw us under the bus without even an “Oops”.
I sincerely hope this was a mistake, because if it is not… I dunno man I can’t trust this company any more if they did. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Please keep in mind new allied races came out and more end game content to complete came with 8.1.5. Not all twinks live for twink pvp. I am sure the queue times will pick up. Let people enjoy the new content sheesh.
Not an excuse. Not even kidding. I tried this, it’s possible. I’ve got a level 63 sub rogue who has did absolutely nothing but battlegrounds since level 20. I’m fully geared out now. Granted some of the gear is lower level, but it’s possible and if you play smart you can compete. I’m done, going to bed.

I can’t have sympathy for someone who couldn’t manage anything higher than 1500 at end game. Maybe I found the reason for your love of twinking?

Fair enough, lol . Give the twinks some time to vent. Many of them are on the roof and need time to calm down. If they can’t get games in they will go missing. This should be addressed sooner than later.

We should see a fix or a blue post soon. Let the Blizz bois get their coffee and wake up. Something SHOULD come to light soon.
I assume they are working on the Pacific time zone soo yea. 7-10am should be enough to get their bearings straight and let us know what’s going on.
So when levelers were complaining that twinks were ruining the ability to play a fair game…didnt matter if they had job / families / limited time did it?

They should make a snowflake bracket where the noobs can learn their class. There should be no gear boxes rewarded, because here lies the true problem. These lazy players were only joining bgs to gear on their way up.
They buffed quest rewards for lower levels. Not really screaming PvP. Just a thought

I don’t have a twink, I have no vested interest in this either way but I feel like if people can come into random bgs at 120 with a 5 man premade, twinks should be able to play against non twinks. Both examples give a tangible advantage in a bg, but neither guarantee a win and both can be overcome.
Premades are fine. The problem with twinks is they represent a large amount of the frustration in low level battlegrounds, but are a fraction of the player base.
Players are saying that they have opened tickets with GMs about the queue issues and inquired about a possible separation of xp on/xp off, the response was it is not supposed to be this way and will be looked into. So the separation is simply a bug in the queue system. based on what players have heard from the GMs the concern for separation is simply a bug and will be fixed.
Everybody just relax and be patient. Things will be back to as intended soon enough.

Not even remotely comparable … I was in a BG while levelling where a twink tore through 3 of us defending the flag like we were not even there … probably took 10 sec.
Doubtful whether a 410 gear 120 can take on and defeat 3 fresh 120’s at 300 ilevel. Even if he could it would take longer than 10 secs.
