Even if it isn’t, you can have fun in a game that isn’t fun itself.
It’s fun until you learn more about it, then it’s just a series of frustrations brought on by the employees who ignore the game.
Bobby Kotick’s philosophy is that he doesn’t want employees who aren’t developers and he doesn’t care about community support or fandom. And since Classic is essentially “developed”, he outsourced Classic to India to be maintained for as cheaply as possible.

I honestly believe that 90% of the players don’t have fun playing the game, but I personally think the game is fun.

The game is actually very fun.
Just stay far, far away from the forums. The forums have become a self aware entity that perpetually feeds on the cesspool of negativity, thereby creating more negativity daily to keep itself well fed.
But yeah, the actual game itself is a lot of fun.

Epilogue
In the end TBCc is a wonderful throwback to a time of the true MMO before pet battles and cosmetic digital doll house. If you want to experience (somewhat) what it was like to play The Burning Crusade whilst atop your wrap-strider then there is no better place to try out!

Agreed wholeheartedly, unfortunately.
This is true in a lot of old games or rehash games. It’s a method of coping with anxiety more than it is a source of joy.
I’m having a great time, phase 2 content is awesome, and its all about who you choose to play the game with :).
It’s great. The best WoW ever was and the best it ever will be.
I love this game, I am an altoholic. By the time I level 10 toons to max, the next expansion is on. So I start all over again. Fun fun fun.
As long as you don’t read the forums, yes.
Only if you find a guild of people who share your play values, or enjoy soloing almost exclusively.

Best thing about TBC is character identity without the need for transmogs and what not… You can do lots of things without being meta and still be effective.
