So it seems somewhere over the last few months of playing classic I had accidentally deleted a trinket in my bank (Rune of the Guard Captain). Now I don’t know when this was or why I deleted it since I knew it was an item that I needed to hold on to for phase 3 but I went to check my bank the other day and it is no where to be found. I’ve checked item restoration and gone through all the different in game ticket options but they all lead back to the automated item restoration. If it wasn’t a quest reward I would just go farm another one but unfortunately that isn’t possible. So am I out of luck or is a GM able to restore this item?
Gms have the same list that you see generaly speaking if its not on the list then its gone for good sometimes we can get lucky but not usualy.
GMs use the same database that the item restoration feature uses, so if you can’t see it there, odds are they won’t see it, either.
Hmm well hopefully being a quest item maybe since I have it completed they can see that I did have the item at one point. Or maybe even reset the quest? Here’s to hoping for the best then.
They arent allowed to reset the the quest either your more then likely outa luck.
I’m afraid not, Peekabew. We are never able to reset quests, in either version of the game. For WoW Classic, our Game Masters are primarily hands off for many similar requests, including restoring or swap quest rewards. Sorry.
