Is there any debate that WoW is P2W?

This has been said, at minimum, 50 or more times in this thread. Likely more.

Nope, I have proven you wrong every single time.

You can definitely pay to gain access to power (And more gear power obviously), but there is no guarantee you can do so without getting scammed out of your gold.

i think u pay for speed essentially to reach the point of you actually being able to play your class at the highest level in theory.

bc like i could swap to a new character - buy boosts with all the gold i have from boosting, and play a character but that’s different than you swapping to a class and doing the same thing right? different outcomes

you’d be surprised the amount of gear some demo locks that i personally coach have.

Please, enlighten me, O wise one. What am I wrong about and why? I’ll wait.

Snozy is successful. Pride is oozing out of her eyes. Just so amazing at a kids video game.
The insults will fly … and you will feel like dirt … because snozy just sooooo good. LOL

Imagine thinking wow means anything in real life.

Yet you haven’t. Your feelings don’t change the facts.

Everything you complained about can be purchased with using a single dollar and earned from just playing the game.

That alone proves you wrong on all points.

Right back at you. I have proven how valuble BOEs are to guilds with actual stats.

All you have are stories and insults.

You can’t pay to gain access to power that hasn’t been untrained yet.

That’s why it’s not P2W.

Exception is the highest levels of play.

Your definition,

My definition is if there is an OP item in the cash shop that’s not acquirable anywhere else then thats p2w.

Your definition

You’re opinion

The reason why these threads go round and round is because no one on GD can agree what the definition of P2W is and even if we did no one is changing their minds.

Players at heroic level that frequently get cucked by BoE’s will forever be salty and believe that WoW is P2W and the only reason they’re not doing well is because they aren’t paying as much.

Players at mythic level will argue that its not P2W because you can’t buy your way onto a mythic raid team.

We can argue all day and it won’t change.

Already explained how you are wrong multiple times. Joist scroll up.

At this point you’re either trolling or Obtuse.

ya but like how many of u could buy full 300s and then push a 25 on a new character im just curious because it depends what you define as “winning the game”

This only impacts about 1% of guilds….

So WoW is pay to win for the top 1% of the community?

Could be worse…

You’re right, it won’t change the fact that people spend real world money for advantages in the game and you are choosing to ignore it because it hurts your feelings.

Im a middle aged player too with decent job who can afford gold. I am busy with RL and i am so Casual with this game. But I am not a garbage player. I was able to do KSM by myself despite of very limited play time. I was in Vegas last month, went to Beach resort last week with family and friends and still got that easy KSM.

To me, those who Pay2Win are garbage players. They thought they’d won. They won nothing. They are a joke. I want them to make Blizzard rich so i could keep my favorite game running for years. But when i see those Pay2win players queueing on my key, i can easily see them and kick them right away and they would receive some hilarious joke whispers from me. How could a Pay2Win player win if his fellow gamers dont respect him? He just cant admit that he’s a loser.

As if the only people do this are unskilled. Lots of very skilled people without the time … p2w their butts off just to have fun because they can.

oh yea no, im not saying that unskilled only ppl do it because i would totally do it if i wanted to gear up fotm, but it’s a different like “goal” from me to them

How is it an advantage when other people have already done it?

The one exception is PvP where super geared people can join lower ranked teams…

That’s messed up I agree

You’re right, I agree. It could be way worse, and I worry with the success of diablo immoral and other P2W games that blizzard will decide to make it worse. Which is why I just want people to acknowledge that this is bad. Not the worse thing ever. It’s not like WoW is currently ruined. But it is bad and shows a possible trend to a worse future.

Your “stats” are only on race to world firsts which is a completely different scenario.

You’re trying to use apples to complain about oranges.

All you have done is prove you don’t know Jack about the raiding community or endgame or how it works.

Telling you you’re wrong on content you haven’t done or experiences isn’t an insult.
