Actually your dps doesnt match the sim because you and a majority of the playerbase are sub par players
The reason Hekili doesn’t tell you to do AoE abilities is usually that you haven’t hit them yet. It can’t see what’s in front of you, it can only see what damage you’re doing. So when you have an AoE situation, you have to start your AoE roation, and then Hekili will figure out what’s going on. Hekili also cannot guess what’s about to happen. It doesn’t know how to hold a CD for best overall dps. It’s what is called a greedy algorithm. It’s always trying to get the highest dps if the fight was to end in a second. That being said, I find it great for helping me to keep a multitude of dots on a single target. It can watch all the CDs and dot expirations effortlessly.
