The new version of ElvUI works as a global package. So the retail download will be used for WoTLK.
In terms of what you’re looking for; I know for retail, NameplateCooldowns would be what you want, not sure about classic. I haven’t tested it out, but you could give it a shot with the latest version. If that doesn’t work, there’s other ways of integrating it. If you go to the wago(dot)io website, there should be custom WeakAuras to integrate OmniCC or OmniBar enemy CD’s onto nameplates. I believe you could also do this with standalone Plater Nameplates, too. I would install these if the NC addon doesn’t work: If you want a clean interface, go for Elvui → RedtuzkUI (it’s under [addons] → [browse] → [classic wotlk] menu on the TukUI website) → Plater → WeakAuras → OmniCC/OmniBar (whichever is stable). I’m pretty sure reddit and keyword searches on wago should help you get them working. I haven’t PVP’d in a while, so I’m basing it off of prior knowledge. Hope this helps.
Apparently they have a stable version of NameplateCooldowns for patch 3.4 on the Curse website, you just have to click “files” and it’s like the 6th one down. It should automatically do it for you on the CurseForge desktop addon app, if you have it.
The best way to do it is to test it out yourself. Sometimes certain lines of code will conflict when running two addons that are alike. I don’t think you’ll have a problem.
Ty so much i’m using it now!! is there a way to make it show class colors on enemy nameplates?
and is there a way to make it only show the cds above nameplates when they’re active? atm it show them above nameplate when it’s on cd even though the effect isnt active.
