Is there a way to hide your R.IO scores?

I know warcraft logs has a feature where you can hide all your progress. Can I do that on rio?

Pardon me??

Not that I’m aware of.

If the reason you’re getting rejected from groups is due to having a low I.O. Score, then having no I.O. Score isn’t going to help you.

Don’t you play 2100 Raider i.o score dozer?

Not that I’m aware of.

RaiderIO is a very good system, but this is a flaw.

Pretty much this. ^

You’re not going to be better off by hiding it. You might even get more flak for that. Kind of like how people will give others a hard time around here for hiding their profile.

You can hide your character from it on the RIO site, pretty sure there is an OPT OUT feature?:

This will just make people assume you have a bad RIO and not invite you. What did you think it would do? “OH, GUESS THIS GUY IS GOOD, THEN?”

Yes, you can hide it by making an accou t on Rio web site, linking it to your wow account then setting your character to private.

Nope. At least not that I know of.

Honestly, no IO score is essentially a 0 IO score, so chances are if you weren’t going to get invited with a low score, you really won’t get invited with no score.

That makes no sense at all. AT least by hiding my score they will at least ask me what my rio is instead of insta declining me.

That’s too much effort. I never cared for IO but now that I have it and use it, no score = declined

No one is going to ask. They are just going to invite someone with a visible IO score.

As others have said, you need to setup your rio account and set your character profiles to private. A bunch of us did this soon after rio became a thing. However I noticed rio reverted my privacy change. So I had to reset it to private. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

This will definitely lead to a well reasoned discussion among members.

THAT makes no sense at all, if it’s hidden, and they ask you…your making the assumption they will believe what you have to tell them - or they will even bother reaching out to you.

The whole purpose of IO is as a verification/vetting system, the second it turns to “trust me, I promise I’m 2000 IO, no foolin” undermines the entire process.

Also…if you want them to ask for your score and you have no intention on deceiving people, why bother hiding it?

Why would they ask you when they have six other pending applicants that have it visible?

Um no, I’ll insta-decline you. I’m not going to believe you since you’re going to the trouble to HIDE your score. I mean if it were good you wouldn’t do that.

Private just means that literally every group is going to instant decline you. You have a better chance with a poor score than you do with zero score.
