Its been causing issues with linux launching and would really appreciate a way to disable it.

Nope. How does it interfere with Linux launching itself? What you could do is, disallow BNET client to start up with Linux startup and then launch manually if the startup is the problem.
Don’t think there’s official Linux support either

Less the OS and more launching from a steamdeck. It seems to hinder the gamepad controls and is frustrating difficult to close via the touch screen.
I can launch directly from wow but it makes patching a pain.
Correct, there is not. And there are no plans for it at this time.
Disabling the Launcher as a startup app might be the only resolution.
As far as utilizing the Steam Deck, you won’t get an official representative’s help as, again, Linux is not supported in any way. You might have better luck asking other players in the Hardware forum. It is technically an off-topic forum, but it seems like your closest fit other than General Discussion.
