Only looking to cap every week and I just want to make that process a little easier. Can anyone help me out?
The DontCast addon may be up your alley.
Check out Tellmewhen. You can set your own weakauras for literally anything. Opponents CD’s, your own CD’s coming available, temporary buffs and debuffs on you, etc. etc.

It will display active cooldowns above their nameplates, it’s a little buggy right now since it hasn’t been updated but it still works. I just click the “ignore” button if the window comes up once, and then it doesn’t show again unless I relog.
You can change whatever cooldowns you want it to display in the spell list, add stuff to it, and scale the size of each spell. I like to make the really scary stuff 300% bigger so it’s impossible to miss 
Using OmniCC I quickly made myself two quick WeakAuras showing me the most common Offensive and Defensive abilities (I used Omni to show me a list of all the abilities each class does and I picked the ones I wanted to track and add them into my WA)
