I’m sure. Its just who I am though.
I’m not worried about any of that.
The people who literally don’t even post about the topic and just insult the way I post are the people I would be concerned for, if anyone.
But I am used to that too by now.

It’s alright the new community seem to be causals, based off their name their eventually get bored and go back to running ICC for the mount for the 5000th time.
This statement/argument has been used so many times for the last decade, it should be void. Seriously, I am so tired of hearing this phrase T_T
Then maybe you should try to avoid being so condescending and dismissive.
Do you honestly believe LFR is the equivalent to participating in an actual raid?
Whoever called raiding and M+ Dark Souls wins the internet. That’s exactly what’s it become Dark Souls for lots of people at the same time.
I hate with a passion Dark Soul type games. I love Star Wars but couldn’t play the Jedi game because god almighty my reaction time is poor.
But you hit the nail on the head. Dark Souls is essentially the end game content. Ion gets no points for that lol.
Or the majority unsubscribes when they realize Blizzard is ignoring them, and the game has to shut down.
They did, you are just putting a pessimistic spin on things.
The community asked for more control over their progression, less RNG in their progression, less infinite grinds, and more agency in their decision making for their character.
In Shadowlands, you got all of that and you dislike it.
So what should change now?
Or they love WoW, want it to be better, don’t understand the decision making, feel as if they see paths to improvements, and hope they can influence the game in that direction. Like human beings tend to be.
As are the continued denigrations and dismissals of everyone who doesn’t just shut up and play.
Jeez don’t oversell them, if I recall we wanted less systems, and to #pulltheripcord, did that happen?
I’m sorry but a couple people leaving from GD will hardly make a dent, if you believe that then I’m not sure what to tell you.
I am not doing it intentionally though.
People are just inferring it from my statements.
I could say the same about you and many others in this thread.
Would you take your own advice?
The irony of someone with a lvl 60 classic toon complaining about not getting epic gear from WQs in retail is off the charts.
As a huge Soulsborne fan, that’s not at all true. The Soulsborne franchise was built on providing players with a rich, expansive, compelling and utterly beautiful and mysterious world to explore - and to try to piece it together themselves. It gave them near full access where the only thing holding them back is the player’s patience, ability to learn, and skill.
Modern WoW is the opposite of that. It shoves everything in your face, puts you on rails, tries to keep you busy and distracted and doesn’t at all let you pace yourself how you want to. It treats you like chattel and tries to focus on specific groups of people, rather than the individual.
It doesn’t help the story is just… bad.
That was after development. I am talking about the things that led to development.
I never heard a single person complain about alpha/beta torghast. NOT ONE. People were having a blast, I was looking forward to running that until my eyes bled.
So hopefully someone who matters does see this, because it is unconscionable how badly they messed it up. The fix is so easy but they just refuse to make ALL the players happy. Which is exactly what they would get, because that version of torghast was what we all bought.
the ‘you should quit then’ argument is both dismissive and insulting, which is why i assume the white knight trolls use it
Classic is an entirely different game, with an entirely different community. I played - and loved - Classic for everything other than raid logging, which is what I’m doing now other than leveling my Rogue.
I’m waiting for TBC right now. Shadowlands could have held my interest, but I have even less interest logging in than Classic right now.
Don’t respond to me if you can’t answer my question, troll.
Well I meant mechanically it’s very much the same style game. Not in terms of story or would building. But the reactive play style of you have to time this correctly is what’s it’s essentially boiled down to.
