Does Mythic need more players?
Are Mythic players complaining about solo players getting Mythic level rewards?
I thought the old raid or die philosophy was put to bed with Delves.

Assuming it’s even true, I don’t think the point is to push more players to M+. It’s that keys below +7s were strictly worse in every way than much easier T8 delves for getting gear, at least until you ran out of keys. That meant for players with limited time whose limiting factor in pushing keys on a character, it was more efficient for them to run delves, rather than building knowledge and score in lower M+ keys.
This creates a situation where it’s much harder to determine who belongs in a +8 when so many applicants have no M+ history to suggest they would know how to be successful. Those applicants are likely to be declined more frequently as a result of lacking the IO from previous keys. And far more keys are going to wind up failing due to this weird mix of players who know the dungeons and those that do not.
To be clear, I’m not advocating for the solution to be nerfing delve loot. But honestly I don’t really know of a better way to resolve this situation, either. It’s easy to tell someone who wants to M+ that they should just play keys from the get-go or they should accept needing to work on IO score despite having the gear from delves before trying to get into higher keys. But that is a pretty mixed message from the game that early in a season is all about gear progression that the objectively most efficient form of gear progression is also one that’s going to set them up for failure later.

i have not see anything on wowhead yet about the nerf
tier 8 rewards 606 gear the vault 616 gear up to 629 ilvl and the delve players need the bountiful delves to get the 606

How would they nerf this have delves drop veteran gear and m+ get the champion gear?
I mean people could just still practice low keys using delve gear or just gear using M+. Going up to Heroic was one of the big sells of delves.

delves (if you have a coffer key) only give champion gear, which is not good.
delve vault gives you one piece of hero track gear that you can infinitely farm in 7s.
delves have no route to obtain myth track gear.
nerfing delve gear rewards would literally make zero sense.
sounds like the community has already solved the problem on its own - don’t have any previous mythic plus experience? you won’t get invited to any higher keys, so you have to go run lower keys to get the experience to get an invite.

If they have no history or bad parses, then people shouldn’t be inviting them. Just like people have always done.
Delves are not the problem and shouldn’t be treated as such by others.
This whole complaint from other M+ players is like the red-headed stepchild of WoW trying to devalue and belittle the youngest sibling.

i know so what are they mad about the 606 gear only drops from the key chest or the 616 vault we get to pick 3 from?
Apparently there’s a rumor that the people who don’t want to play with others are suddenly getting gear from Delves to play with others in higher content they don’t do.
When in reality, M+ players tried to use Delve gear to skip keys, failed and now they’re blaming the world players for their own failure of not checking logs.

I definitely think it’s a knee jerk reaction. I don’t see them nerfing it, might change the reward structure around but that’s it.
Just gonna have to see what S2 brings.

Sure, but is that really how the game should be designed? Should gear that can be obtained completely soloable in less time serve as a replacement for the bottom 6 key levels, especially since that’s already after the removal of 10 key levels before that? Yeah, it’s self-inflicted for players who have no M+ history to try to jump into higher level keys; but there’s no question the difficulty versus reward equation compared to other forms of content is pretty far out of whack as it relates to delves.
I didn’t say delves are the problem. But the PvE gear equilibrium is out of alignment right now with just how high of a key you have to run to reach gear parity with what comes from delves. I’m all for the solution being gear or difficulty changes with M+.

Delves aren’t a problem, endgame just needs to be balanced. Right now, delve rewards are too high requisite their difficulty.
Happy to keep delve rewards and delve players don’t need to go into group content, delves just need to be much harder.
And no…the solution isn’t nerfing the entire endgame instead of adjusting delves, I’ve seen this suggested 
. Although it’s possible delves at the top end of rewards need to be adjusted slightly, and could be too difficult currently.

I’d actually be more likely to let my subscription lapse over even joining a Mythic+. Just reading topics on the forums make them seem like more of a nightmare than I think they are. Add on a timer and no way will I participate.

All the article says is they want to improve the transition from delves to M+ … players are jumping to the conclusion that this means t8 delve rewards will be nerfed.
Maybe this just means increasing the challenge of delves to better prepare players for group content that awards similar rewards. Nobody can say delves are currently appropriately challenging for the rewards gained, not with a straight face.

at my ilvl tier 8s are easy only tier 10s i have a problem with and its due to the ilvl diff
now if they made tier 9s drop 609 on locked chest we would have more players doing higher then 8

That’s likely what they plan, you can still get the same rewards, but not as easy
