Do I need to do the campaign quest that unlocks it for my alt?
I thought I was done with campaign the instant my free leggo dropped.
If it follows the pattern they’ve been setting, it should be.

So far it is on PTR, but never doubt Blizzard’s ability to ruin a good idea at zero hour.

Also, as far as i know, you need to be 6/6 cypher gear to use it. Because it will bump up the ilvl of the relic gear from 246 to 252.
It says on the PTR that you can not use this unless you are 6/6 cypher knowledge. But you never know, maybe you can use it if you want to keep the relic gear at 246, but on the PTR it wont do it at this point, unless they change it before Tuesday.
I stopped doing anything after i hit revered so i sure hope not.

I checked on the PTR, on a character that just did the skip, I was able to access the CC without having to do anything else after having done the unlock quest on another character. Should be the same on live.

6/6 isn’t rep related. Just Cypher system. Some of those cooldowns are nearly 6 days long, though.

I hope this is the case, going from 252 down to 246 just to get the tier set felt like it was going to require some kind of simming just to figure out if the tier was worth the downgrade.
My alts are not going to be happy… Most are sitting at 3/6 right now.

Fortunately with the long research items you can spread them out on a few alts and then once you’ve done it once per account all other characters can research it in 5sec.
Did that change? Because when ZM released, if my main was researching something, my alts couldn’t research anything until my main was done.
It won’t let you research the same thing on more than one character at a time, but otherwise it would only lock you out if for example: Character A was researching the top row of a cypher that unlocks the rest of that cypher like Daelic understanding, Character B can’t research anything in the Cypher.
It will let you research different Cyphers at the same time otherwise.
Hmm. It wasn’t letting me do that when ZM first launched. Maybe it was a bug they fixed.
Possibly, I didn’t do much with my alts until after week 2.
I was able to research Sopranian Understanding(2nd cypher in the 3rd column) on an alt while this character was researching Trebalim Understanding.
