havent had a chance to login for a few days. didnt quite make it to 70. Is the xp buff gone? Ive heard people talking about them removing it. And tbh, I’m probably not logging in classic again if it is.
They removed it.
They saw how much fun we were having with it. Also in a developer interview one of the developers said they really liked it too.
So you know how it goes. If it’s fun, Blizzard removes it. Honestly I think they were a bit surprised that they were having fun and wanted it to stop.

It’s gone. Removed at launch, they said.
damn. well, maybe next expansion launch ill play classic.

If its any consolation, the community has overwhelming been asking for it to be made permanent so we could see it soon.

Before any of you complain about me doing a thread necro, I searched using my Web browser and this thread is what came up.
That said, it would be nice to have some kind of exp buff up through 67.
Even if it just went through 60 it would be a huge help with alts. Replaying classic for the 8th time is not interesting. Even qualifying it by only providing the buff if you have a 80 on server or selling it as a pot would be useful.

Why hasnt Blizzard used the store more in classic? I know there are arguments against tokens and other things that are considered providing an advantage, but there arent even cosmetic items for sale.
Not sure if its a choice or a technology issue with the older game or what but Im surprised they would pass up the opportunity to make money.
50% xp buff cut into their lvl boost sales by 0.0000001% so they shut that down asap.
