I mean druids have 4 specs. Why not? I love my survival hunter so much I decided to main him; I’d be sad to see the spec go but I know a lot of people love older iterations of the spec. So why not both?

While I find the fact that your very first post on that character moments after you entered these forums to be what it is, to be…suspicious…let’s put that aside for now.
As a counter, was the demand of a melee-hunter spec(or discussions regarding SV in general) such a hot topic prior to Legion class changes were announced? No, not even on these forums. They still went ahead and changed SV.

“Discussed” as in: One or two people saying it would be a cool idea, while the other few dozends outright rejected the idea to turn any hunter spec into a melee.
Those threads were always massively downvoted.

Well, the vast majority of hunters is busy rejecting the SV spec live in game for 3 expansions in a row now. The rejection of MSV just went from forum to the live servers, crazy!

And yet no dual wield. I love that we can explore the ONLY version of the melee hunter fantasy in WoW lore in a way that doesn’t reflect the only version of the melee hunter fantasy in WoW lore.
It takes a special kind of stupid to just make something up in order to try and prove a point. I’ll wait while you provide proof as to only one or two people wanting melee hunter.

I must have missed when I became a dev who decided how something was to be implemented. But since we’re here, I love that we can explore the mental gymnastics it takes to continue whining about a decision that was made six years ago, by absolutely no one who posts or reads these forums.

I meant that your very first post was you, showing how you couldn’t give a crap about the actual discussion(s) but simply wanted to come here and ridicule other players.
But hey, now that you mention it, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is an alt of for example Metroid, or Rhande. Same goes for Arhtemis.

Did you bother to read what the person I was responding to wrote? They claimed there was no demand for a melee hunter prior to the legion class changes. This is patently false, because hunters have discussed and asked for a melee spec since the inception of Rexxar.
You can keep parroting this all you want. It’s a flat out lie. A lot more than one or two people have asked for a melee spec to mimic Rexxar. This is why you have no credibility when it comes to these discussions, you lie or omit things to try and support your stance.

Cool? I said that you can’t explore the class fantasy of a melee hunter as previously realized by Blizzard because the ONLY one is a DW Beastmaster. We can’t play that. Explain how I’m wrong?
