It is niche, at least for Frost. Why would you waste 600k damage on SR when you have KM procs? You wouldnt. Its very niche in its use for Frost at the very least.

or oblit does execute damage at low health

That already happens with the rest of the spec. And what are you going to nerf to have these big executes? Equivalent exchange, gotta have that damage come out of other stuff somewhere.

toss out all the frost damage from oblit does and tone down AA and FF

I dont know what your fixation is with auto attack damage and FF when they dont make up a large portion of the damage.

And taking out the frost portion of Obliterate at this point just isnt an option without a spec overhaul.

This isnt worth ruining the spec for execute damage.

If we get to keep reaper should soul be retired and reaper be brought in

Or soul gets the second part of reaper does 300 damage plus addifional 25% shadowfrost Damage stacking 20 times doing 800 shadowfrost damage or 12 sec happens

Or soul does upfront shadowfrost damage no more waiting for a proc

It is funny how Protection Warrior Execute can hit for quite literally over a million yet Soul Reaper as Unholy or Frost can’t even hit half of that - despite it being far worse to use. Blood - you’d be lucky to hit a third of it.

Which is why it needs a huge buff and a redesign to how it works.

Deathbringer is going to need to take Soul Reaper with the next patch. One of the talent changes lets it be used after Reaper’s Mark no matter the enemy health.

And considering it will mostly likely be the only spec allowed in end game stuff, get used to using it, I guess?

It’s not a “need” to take considering you already should have SR and be using be using it in just about all content.

It’s nice that sr gets the sudden death treatment but I forget to use it cuz reaper an exterminate are just so baller to use

It’s your opener as soon as you pop PoF + RM now. It’s a free cast and feeds into KM loop - no way you can possibly forget to use it now.

I use rm and slappy hands to build stacks fast to make it go boom. it’s kinda meh for soul to do it’s damage when reapers giga chad damage moments before

Then there’s what happens when you press oblit and it does it’s damage and whoose whoose with two big ol scythes that do good aoe damage

Soul needs a big damage boost so it feels good with everything else

well its a shame that everybodies class spec could choose whatever hero talents they want. so when blood and unholy see rider and san wasn’t doing it for them then they could have chosen deathbringer and be on their way wrecking faces and taken names

Just curious, do Frost/Blood players enjoy or even want soul reaper?

There’s so much more potential to this ability than just a weak, delayed execute.
