not that I care if you take me seriously or not because I sure don’t take you seriously but for everyone else example one - a thread that was flagged and then cleared and flagged again - a whole lot of insults and inflammatory statements in this.
Seems to be a common thread on these forums, with wannabe authors spewing tripe about what constitutes good and bad writing. And like 99.6% of the time, that feedback is trash, lacking anything beyond a surface-level analysis of the narrative and its themes.
This isn’t a plea to stop, because frankly, y’all have this insatiable need to talk despite it being from the wrong end. This is just a statement of fact: the vast majority of you are unqualified to assess storytelling.
What you can do is give feedback on what WoW’s stories, characters, and overall setting make you feel. You can talk about what you liked and disliked, and why. And THAT, dear scrubs, is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more valuable feedback and way more representative of your insights than waxing poetic about what the story “should have done” or whatever.
That is all. Don’t @ me.
EDIT: Thank you for restoring the post, Blue.
