I’ve used VMs in the past to try out stuff on Linux without having to dual boot, no idea how to do it with multiboxing.

Liar. You are either a liar or just misinformed. The laggy battle for nazjatar multibox armies and the economics of the games resources were evident to many. No way that the price of anchor weed drops 200% in a weekend for no reason. The world was messed up and so many players complained about it.
I heard with vulcan a lot more games are becoming playable, haven’t tried it myself though
