Is Ruby life pools overtuned?

Hi i’ve been tanking since the start of s1 and had an easy time timing the other dungeons (besides court of stars I havent tried it yet) but RLP is different i have attempted this key half a dozen times and havent timed it once my problem isnt the trash yes it hits hard but its not too bad my problem is the last 2 bosses it’s essentially a coin flip because ill have groups where we wipe 4 tines on the 2nd boss then 1 shot the last boss or vice versa i”ve failed enough to where i know the mechanics inside out but we die on the last boss because we end up spreading because of how hectic the nonstop mechanics are I can only imagine how bad this is for you healers out there! This has me worried because its not even tyrannical and in struggling this bad. But is this dungeon overtuned or is this a gitgud moment?

RLP isn’t fun atm. People are still learning the dungeon, but that being said RLP feels the most over tuned.

RLP is fun. 2nd boss is the best. Last boss could do without the interrupt.

This dungeons trash is overtuned.

You have the giant fire elementals that do massive unavoidable AOE damage constantly and the dragons put 2 dots on people that explode for 100k dmg regardless if you dispel it or let it go off.

The last boss also does like 4 mechanics at the same time.

Bro, use more periods.

The upper ring trash is pretty insane right now. It’s made worse by the week 2 stealth change to have the drakes aggro/land, and those things are as hard as the bosses.

Srry it was 5 minutes before i had to clock in at work and i was in a rush to type it up.

I have timed most of the dungeons at +11 except Ruby Life Pools. The upper area trash is laughably overtuned and I won’t be touching it again unless this gets addressed.

I’d recommend playing it often in an overturned state in order to develop mastery of the dungeon and respect for the mechanics. This way, when or if it is ultimately nerfed, you will be ahead of the curve! (No pun intended)

The trash is fine. I enjoy it.

On a +10, but try it on a +15.

Currently my only criticism of it is how punishing it feels to have melee as your dps. I’ve been doing it on my rogue and I wouldn’t even bring that if I wasn’t playing it. Last boss especially.

I did a 7 RLP and it felt harder than a 12 SBG, lol.

It doesn’t help that SBG feels rather undertuned as well. Surely they look at the stats of the highest keys timed and can tell which ones are crap. Right now there’s only 1 20 timed in the world of RLP and a full page of SBG 20’s with some 21’s.

SBG is beautiful. Only dungeon that keeps my hope up. They should tube m+ in a way that it gets stupidly hard at 25+ or whatever is not mandatory for getting good vault items.

So that the 0.1% has it’s fun banging their head against walls and normal people can do it with reasonable effort.

By the end of the season there will be plenty of “normal” people timing 25+, even if they did nothing to change the current tuning. Gear levels and experience would eventually get us there. Granted I could surely see the people who were only completing 15’s and either not timing or struggling to time them last expansion being stuck. I don’t see that as being a negative either. People have been complaining that m+ was too easy a route to get gear for years.

I’m finding Nok Offensive considerably harder than RLP atm. Probably just composition but still. Second boss on Nok is INSANE.

This is just for completion. Slightly different for timing. HOV feels like it needs another 2 minutes on the timer, too much RP and running around.

My only issues with nok offensive are the trash patrols before first boss when your freeing the ballistas and second boss

My dudes this the upper area trash is just obnoxious. I consider also it’s week one and people aren’t intimately familiar with mechanics yet, but I pugged a 12 without success earlier, and while I had no issues surviving as a prot pally, the dps in my group got destroyed. My mistweaver friend was sustaining 56k hps on those pulls, add another 31k from my WoG healing and it barely got us through WITH potions.

The double flamedancer pack is just ridiculous without coordinating stuns, knock up and soothes for raging. In fact, just about all the trash before 2nd boss is definitely the worst trash in the expansion thus far.

Yeah RLP is seriously overtuned. The second boss can be a little iffy but doable, but the last boss, yeah right. My team has been clearing 10s in every other dungeon but we can’t even complete a 7 on time in RLP and its because of the last boss. And it’s only Fortified week, can’t wait to not do RLP next week on tyrannical…
