Hey guys I only been playing pvp for around a month and I just pushed 1800 I’m really psyched about it, but I just wanted to know if 1800 is considered good or just average?

Well 1500 used to be average a looong time ago, but idk anymore. In the current state of the broken game it’s pretty easy to push 1800 being carried by just corruptions.
Either way though, grats on 1800! Don’t worry a out rating defining if you are good or not and just keep doing it if you have fun.

Some people never hit 1800 after years of PvP. Feel happy with what you’ve accomplished and don’t compare yourself to others. Congratulations on Rival and your new appearances!

on these forums people claim that some rank 1 players r trash, so i dont really even know anymore.
i did one time see a rogue who was 1400 after 6 thousand games, that was pretty interesting. id honestly say 1400 is average considering most ppl r pve players

it’s all relative. there are some rank 1 players who, relative to other r1s, aren’t that good
to answer OP i’d say average in a normal season without mega inflation is around 2.1-2300ish. also varies based on class/comp that you’re playing
There are some people who cant get challenger… be happy.
That being said, just keep trying to get better and have fun while doing it.
As for average… id say average is maybe 1600ish. You have to remember, people above 1600 and up to the top and a minority of the wow community.
As far as average in the pvp world though? Probably like 1800. It really isnt too much of a difference i feel like.

As a mage, dh, rogue or lock? very average. But it also depends on your ilvl. If it’s low then you can consider it good.
Also, a first time Rival IS something to feel good about! Congratz!

Rival is better than everyone below it and “bad” to everyone above it. It’s all relative to the person you’re asking. I know a lot of AOTC raiders and keystone masters that can not hit 1800.
Wowhead says only 6% of profiles have the rival achievement. Rival use to represent the top 3-10% of the pvp playerbase before they changed it to a static rating.

Congrats! Don’t compare yourself to others, just keep setting goals and try to hit them. Next shoot for 2k, and hopefully continue having fun while doing it

Average tbh lol I did arenas for 2 days and im 1764 on my druid i havent pvped at all this xpac but got the mount now so wont pvp again till next mount
Just be proud of whatever achievement you accomplished. Because in a season like this where people are 3200+and glad is 2400, that’s almost 1k below the best players. A lot of people consider that average.

You dont need stats to kill someone in 2 gpyro and combustion tho lol /shrug. Dont compare to others and have fun, thats all that matter.
if you would be down… i wouldnt mind trying double mage with you… Ive wanted to try fire/arcane/healer for a while but couldnt find anyone.

1800 this season is likely equivalent somewhere between top 10% and 35%, probably closer to top 35% of PvPers.
Using MoP S15 as comparison.
I think more like 75%.
