There’s an official poll that was conducted on this: Poll: What is your favorite game mode in WoW? - Community / General Discussion - World of Warcraft Forums (blizzard.com) , and PvP was the #2 favorite activity (after M+).

The claim that “there’s probably a tiny fraction of the playerbase that actively pvps” is probably false, and invalidates your unsubstantial rant.

You’re premise is wrong OP. Provide other data that goes against Blizzard’s, or that’s /thread.
