Pounce and Feral Charge - Cat aren’t mutually exclusive. One is an ability, another is a talent. You can get both, you can use both.

facepalm you’re right. I took the talent because I didn’t know Pounce existed. In that case I’ll stick with feral Charge because it uses less energy and save the gold for my mount.

Get pounce when you can, it’s like the druid equivalent of Cheap Shot. It stuns 3 (4 with bash talent) seconds from stealth and puts a bleed on the target.
Feral Charge is also a really good talent and you should take it. The bear charge gives you a spell interrupt and an immobilize and the cat talent is a big gap closer that puts you behind the target and dazes them. Cat charge can be used in stealth. The charges share a CD, but Bear Charge is 15 sec CD and Cat Charge is 30 sec CD.
Does Pounce break Prowl?
Yes pounce breaks stealth but is the opener you’ll be using 99% of the time while leveling.
Feral charge is your cat gap closer (does not break stealth). Both are very useful in all forms of content but if I had to pick one or the other it would be pounce.
Just get both imo. The gold saved is pretty minuscule.
I think you’re getting confused. Pounce doesn’t send you flying towards the target - that’s feral charge.

Ohhh. Yes I was thinking Pounce jumps at the target. Ok, this makes more sense to me now.
