For the whole thing, yes. I was referring to the first wing’s release. If you want to queue for this kind of content, it’s a fair price to pay. You pay for the convenience of access with delay.
Again, even two months won’t mean much-- this tier will probably be quite long.
Or they can not gate LFR and let players raid when it’s convenient for them.
Just because it’s not dark souls doesn’t mean it can’t be progression.
Easy does not mean there is no sense of progress.
You end up with substantially better gear overall from the world content. LFRs only practical purpose is to see the story. I don’t know where this notion of LFR character progression is coming from.
Neither you nor the “team” itself has to make any progress to kill a LFR boss. You can walk in, fail spectacularly, and 15 minutes of wiping later kill it without anyone changing anything at all about what they are doing. That isn’t progress.

Yeah, bring back WoD LFR.
Or just turn LFR into full tourist mode, where it’s literally impossible to loose, and awards no loot.

Agreed, but when people have pointed out and tested that you can kill the LFR boss while being literally AFK for almost the entire fight, it’s not progression.
If they were your real friends they’d just bring all 33 to Mythic…somehow?
You’re wasting your time talking to him about team. His entire raid experience is zoning in and being dead while other people kill the boss for him. Nothing at all matters to him, and players like him, except their own personal experience.
The guilds clearing heroic on night one are just waiting for Mythic to open, and they’re not afk or dead on the floor while the bosses die.

Since when do “formal” definitions have to do with gaming related terms/definitions?
Ahh I see the confusion now. You actually think there’s an argument.
Actually the point was for the majority of the player base. End of the day LFR has always had a delay. Deal with it.
I think he’s making a joke
Because if LFR drops tier gear anyone who raids somewhat seriously will
Be forced to do it.
LFR is boring and I don’t want to go in there and carry a bunch of bots.

Ehh in order for it to be a joke I think it’s required to be funny.
Honestly, I think that OP is just exhibit the dunning krugar effect.
In layman’s terms: They aren’t smart enough to realize how bad their idea is.
Try imagining a three way conversation between you, the guy who said if your guild was good they’d bring everyone or something to that effect, and him. I think he’s sarcastically replying to the guy who basically said just bring everyone or your leadership is bad. I could be wrong here, but he’s been mostly reasonably on this thread I think, so I’d be surprised if he was serious.
sigh without inflection it can be hard to tell the difference between sarcasm and foolishness.
So before you adamantly said you weren’t being forced to do LFR, and now you’re saying you would be.
Which is it?
It’s only potentially bad for like 50 people total
Sounds like you’re just being unreasonable or trying to aggravate the poster you replied to.
For the people that only do LFR, they should have releases on the same schedule. That is their raid preference. The people that do Normal, Heroic and Mythic will continue to do so. The only time I remember doing lfr recently was when I needed Lego drops from CN and we weren’t up to the bosses that dropped it.
There’s absolutely no reason to delay lfr releases. This just means they will need to dumb down mechanics further since everyone will be “progressing” at the same time instead of raiders carrying LFR groups.
There’s 45,000 people doing mythic raiding day one? Yowza. Didn’t know the race to world first was that competitive.
The fact of the matter is, a vast majority of that entirely made up number will ever get past even a few mythic bosses, even with the best gear in the game.
It’s entirely meaningless for them to farm LFR.
You can raid mythic week 1 and not be a serious competitor in the RWF.
45k is a slight overestimation on the number of people who got CE Sylvanas, because if you’re raiding at a CE level, you take every advantage you can get. even if it means doing LFR to get your 4set 1 week earlier.
