It’s funny that, like a self fulfilling prophecy when you run something into the ground and then point at it and say “look, it just isn’t working out” lol
I have to wonder if he’s really fit to be running the show when all he does is log in and raid a little here and there, no pathfinder, very little in the way of reps or any other content, disdain for an entire faction, i could go on and on

Sounds dangerous, I can almost assure you they wouldn’t do it until the other system was already in the game.
The fact of the matter still hasn’t changed “players need to do the content for developers to justify the time spent on it” and removing LFR, despite what people think, isn’t going to push people into Normal/Heroic/Mythic raids lol. They are just going to become like me doing dungeons and that being their endgame.

If you think raiding guilds weren’t different from the general population, you’re wrong. During vanilla, most players never reached level 60.

I don’t believe it should be removed. I do think they should go back to just LFR/normal/heroic though.

If you get rid of LFR you can kiss most new raider interest in SLs goodbye.

What they need to do is remove the cross-realm nature of these things. Get rid of CRZ. Start building communities again. The community IS an mmo.

My thoughts was it should be LFR/Heroic/Mythic and buff up the mechanics of LFR to be more like Normal, but I guess that would make some people smash their keyboards.

Might as well just take out LFR and make Normal queueable.

That would work too. Having 4 difficulties is dumb

LFR is perfect how it is in my book

It was sort of like that in Cataclysm, until people threw fits. Then it got dumbed down a ton.

LFR needs to stay.
Raiding just wasn’t for me as you need to be dedicated to a guild and their schedule (id rather my real life not be dictated by my video games)
And you have to learn the mechanics before entering it which felt more like homework.
If LFR wasn’t there I would never be able to finish the story.

Clearly the only solution is to delete LFR.
See for people like you I feel like they should have a scenario mode. Basicly world quest quality loot though. But it’d just be you and the content. I would like LFR to be for people wanting to do normal raiding but just not able to easily find a group. But do want to put in the effort of knowing fights, and gearing up for it.

That is the whole issue why LFD/LFR exists. Guilds shouldnt be able to control the the content outside their guild members. They shouldn’t be able to dictate who gets the best gear, pets, mounts, and recipes. Thats why LFR will continue to be strong. Thats why Mythic dungeons are so popular. Run harder dungeons and get better loot.

World Quest stuff isn’t that bad if they keep it the way it works… It slowly upgrades based on your current Ilevel. With a natural cap of course.

That’s my favorite example
Ghostcrawler made his “Dungeons are hard!” post in regards to the difficulty of cata heroics.

Then afterwards he says “players don’t rise to the challenge they just quit the game”

yeah but you cap out world quest loot in a few weeks tops.
Its nice to have a complimentary system like LFR that gives better gear but slower.
