The simple answer to this is that you are assuming everyone is equal level. I am telling you that people will push ahead and take advantage. That is literally the number 1 problem on the economical side of this issue.
So level with them. It sounds like your upset because someone will level faster then you and take away something that you want for yourself. You sound sort of entitled to X resources when they’re all up for grabs.
If I bust my butt, take PTO to get ahead because I know the advantages to that, no one can/should be upset. Do the same.

Again if you want to cry because someone will out level you and get the first kills and skins makes you sound sooooo entitled to getting a fair chance because you can’t put in as much time as someone else.
Just like there’s plenty of people playing current WoW.

As I thought more about layering, I could probably tolerate it. It’s not…the worst. And we have essentially a guarantee it won’t last past phase one.
Sadly there’s another issue (linking of items between games) that I’m having a real hard time accepting.
I don’t care if it was some plot i just want to play classic, if i don’t enjoy myself i’ll stop playing that’s as far as my thought process goes.Again if you don’t want differing* opinions try reddit.

Look man… I am a guy who loves the game and wants it to succeed. Am I mad? A little, not much, but I don’t think it is reasonable to accept this man.
I seriously shed a tear when they announced Vanilla WoW. I literally want to take time off work to play it. I want it to succeed!
So, as far as it goes, I think I’d tolerate layering until it’s removed, but I do agree that it’s rife for abuse given enough time. I’m willing to bet that it wouldn’t have an immensely negative impact on the game if it only hangs around for a month or so, but at the same time I’m also willing to bet that there will be ‘unknown’ elements to it that cause problems and by the time those problems are fixed it will be too late anyway.
So it has great potential to completely screw the game and I’m not sure how I feel about that.
But, the biggest problem I have with Layering is that I actually don’t trust Blizzard to remove it or that they’ll bring it back later for big events. I dunno yet.
