it felt pretty unclear to me whether or not he is permanently confined to his magic wheelchair
I donât think he is paralyzed. I think he is just weakened from his ordeal. Weak enough it is kind of like an old person who needs a chair or walker because their body is just weak. He might just not be strong enough to walk around.
As to whether it is permanent, that is an open question. We donât have an answer for that. If I had to guess he will recover some, but have a lingering effect that makes him less capable than he was. Odds are he is going to join the retiring crowd.
Heâs a human, he will be fine.
Just call him Professor K when he goes bald.
Oh boy, if Khadgar was sad about missing out on love, before⌠being crippled from the waist down would not help alleviate that issue.
Maybe Xalatath will end up being his squeeze after we beat some sense into her.
Hey, Xavier made out with an alien empress, so there is always hope.
I hope itâs permanent, if only because that gives him the opportunity to upgrade to a floating magic chair. Snazzy look.
I shocked he didnât kick the bucket, grant he is alliance based character. I am sure he will be fine and be back stronger than ever. Just like most alliance character, you should know only horde characters have flaws or face consequences.
reminds me of ff7 where cloud fell into the lifestream in a wheelchair. but reversed
Being human does not make him an Alliance character. He has been aggressively neutral for ALL of WoWâs history. The only Alliance he has ever been part of was the Alliance of Lordaeron, back during the RTS game. The same Alliance that the Blood elves and Forsaken (before they were turned to undead) were part of. So, if you want to say he is an âAlliance based characterâ that also applies to the Blood Elves and Forsaken characters.
Stop trying to play the victim. That is just not true. Plenty of Alliance characters have faced consequences, and plenty of Horde characters walked away completely free of any consequences for their actions.
Their are legitimate reasons Horde players can complain about various story arcs, you donât need to invent new ones. And on the flip side, there are also legitimate complaints Alliance players can make about story arcs as well. Stop trying to pretend it was only Horde having a bad time.
Honestly, I think far to many people act like you are acting. Pretend âtheir sideâ got all bad things and the âother sideâ was just roses and sunshine.
I am confused why his floating magical arcane wheelchair has actual wheels on it. Did Modera just want to make sure everyone knew it was a wheelchair and he wasnât just being lazy with a magical flying chair?
Came here to state the obvious.
Maybe she modeled it after an antique chair. She might be an antiques collector. Or maybe Khaghar always like antique shopping and she was trying to add a personal touch.
really how many alliance aliened characters have died so far compared to horde? Heck I do not even recall any alliance characters facing any backlash forgot consequences. For crying out loud it is never even mentioned again.
The guy is alliance aligned, when blizzard had characters pages in legion it even listed him as alliance. I will add he hasnât donât anything against the horde in wow.
Well we could get into this back and forth. But I have been down that road. What will happen is I will list characters and you will say they donât count for some reason. It might be they were not important enough, they were created to die, we didnât quest with them enough, etc. Meanwhile you will count even the most obscure Horde character that died. We can then discuss the cities (multiple) lost with everyone in them, but you will say they donât count. On and on. If you really think the Alliance has not lost a TON of characters you are willfully ignorant.
You are choosing to ignore everything the Alliance lost just so you can play the victim.
So, again: Stop playing the victim.
That is also just willful ignorance. Not to mention the fact that Horde characters got off with no backlash on worse crimes. Horde donât get to play the âAlliance didnât face consequencesâ considering how many of them were just let off.
He never joined the current Alliance. The one he was part of doesnât exist anymore and notably included both the Blood Elves and all of those who are now Forsaken.
He has been aggressively neutral all of WoWâs existence. He has constantly berated both factions for fighting each other and refused to take part or aid either of them. In fact, some of his dialog with the Alliance is less friendly than he is to the Horde at the same point. Khadgar is and has been neutral.
I will give you Khadgar Netural character. I personally do not like, since he has history with alliance characters even a statue is storm wind. but i can move past it.
Horde hasnât horde pc is consistently shamed for their action. Even though the master minds are no longer with us or killed off. While none of the alliance counter parts face anything.
Let me give you an example, Genn attacked the horde in legion and even attempted to assassinate our warchief. Forget being held accountable, it was never even brought up in wow. Also again how many alliance characters actually die, it is rare and far in between. Ignorance is blissed, I really do not understand how you do not see this as an issue.
Funny thing about that, so is the Alliance PC. Heck, that was happening during the war, right after Theramore was nuked. You would be surprised how often the Alliance PC got lectures about how we were bad for fighting the Horde.
I will grant it probably lands harder for Horde PCs because during the war Horde questing involved actively supporting the war. So, if feels like you actually did the things. But, the Alliance gets the âyou were bad for fighting a warâ lecture all the time as well. And yes Alliance NPCs you quest with will talk about hating/not trusting you. But Horde NPCs Alliance PCs quest with threaten and insult the Alliance PC as well. It is not something unique to the Horde.
LOTS!
Should we talk about how many died in Theramore? How about Teldrassil? That included quite a few named characters. Or Varian? How about how Admiral Taylor was killed off screen just because Nazgrim died in SoO? We could even talk about the characters killed in the Ashenvale & Darkshore questing. Etc., Etc.
It is not remotely as ârareâ as you think it is. I can only conclude you have never played an Alliance character and have listened to dishonest people on the forums. Because the Alliance has lost a lot of characters. That is not something unique to the Horde.
Letâs look at the flip side of that example. Sylvanas attacked Gilneas and attempted to kill the king, killing his son in the process. And virtually destroyed his kingdom. She was never held accountable for that.
Goose/Gander.
This is perfect example of why Horde PCs complaining the Alliance characters donât face consequences is hypocritical.
People generally refer to the âon-cameraâ characters, the ones that Blizzard insists on telling pretty much all of their story through. That usually ends up being a 1:1 relationship with faction leaders. And Iâm sorry, but youâre not going to try to tell me with a straight face that Alliance have had it just as bad on that score.
Having said that, I donât want them to start killing off Alliance characters. I just want The Horde to go back to being a faction with a strong identity, and not just a handful of irrelevant placeholders who seem to only occasionally exist as â⌠and the Horde was there, too!â
They were at war. Again it was not like it was during peace time. Again the act of attacking a leader is declaration of war. Killing in war times is not.
please tell me in the last 8 years of the alliance characters that died. I will counter with horde characters and we can both see how close it is.
I mean considering Anduin recovered from being completely shattered it seems like physical rehab on Azeroth is as magic as the rest of the healing.
