(If someone gets their panties in a bunch about the use of a certian word, I’m referring to history. Slavery was not a pretty institution and it was not about uplifiting the enslaved despite what all the Lost Cause fabulists might say.)

Why? They didnt interact with the arrakoa and I doubt they would be particularly interested in taking the words of their slavers and making it their own.
The draenei on the other hand did trade with them and were at relative peace with them. It makes sense some draenei idea spread to the orcs.

Like some languages literally make sure they remain as “pure” as possible and avoid the use of foreign loan words for their own(usually nationalistic) reasons.
The orcs not willing to interact/learn or use words from a language which to them is actually gutteral is a good excuse as any.

And yet your still replying. Regardless, the orcs didnt have a name for Draenor, they took the draenei words. And contrary to Dread’s goal, there is nothing shady/nothing to call out about it.

Of course there is. The Draenei are Aliens. They had no right to give the ORC world their own Name. If anything only native races should be allowed to do that.
The Draenei didn’t force anyone to adopt the name draenor. It was their personal name for the world

Yes it is. The world needs a new name and it should be the Orcs to decide. Draenei opinions don’t matter.

Because Blizzard’s having alliance bias. Whenever alliance races go they always get the Privilege to own every world and land.
Blizzard is too lazy on giving the Horde any story that isn’t connected to the alliance. TWW is the best proof.

Yes, I am sure that Blizzard was always planning on making the draenei(who were not space aliens at the time) into an Alliance race and that this entire thing isnt a quirk of a suppose to be throw away race that would explain why the orc homeworld was called Draenor being the basis for the name.
Draenei never evolved their language past what the Eredar use, and here Zerde is saying orcs would with ogres.
