Is it too late to try TBC classic at this point?

What other servers are u speaking of? Only dead servers are the pvp servers except the mega ones. For pve I won’t speak for all of them but I know the mega servers are fine mankrik for horde. Pagle for alliance and windseeker the server I am on is small but I wouldn’t consider it dead.

As for OP. It’s less grinding than retail but u still have to work. Being a hunter u got it easy cause u can get the phase 1 bis while leveling and the Kara attunement is gone.

So u just need ssc and tk attunement which on windseeker still has plenty of peeps doing it.

yes it’s too late. you’re behind the wave of players and will be doing the grinds before endgame with a diminished number of people, making it take longer

LOL you need to re-read my post. I clearly said the mega servers are fine (except for all the botters). Reading comprehension is fun.

I started about a month or so ago, and just wanted to dungeon level. I don’t really enjoy leveling paladins through solo questing, but do like grouping up and running dungeons at level.

What I did was join a guild that allowed everyone to invite others, then started inviting people I would meet while running dungeons. After a couple of weeks, we had 10 or so of us around similar levels, regularly forming groups and running dungeons.

A couple of days ago, the GM logged in, disbanded the guild, and that was it. A bunch of people whispered me, so…

There seems to be a lot of others who are interested in this, since we’re growing pretty quickly. Nothing huge, but we’ve had a couple of full guild groups going at the same time, and we just started recruiting 2 days ago.

Play a hunter, warlock or resto shaman and get red carpet invites to guilds

Yeah, at max level, with gear.

For me, I really wanted to enjoy the leveling experience, just run all the old instances a bunch, and meet other people doing the same while leveling, before focusing on end game content.

If you’re a resto shaman you literally get whispers around level 65, people are that desperate

I started fresh on benediction and there are always people questing and doing dungeons. If raiding is what you want I can’t give an opinion yes since I’m only level 45.

But if you really wanna play retail it’s easier than ever to just jump right back in, but I’m just not a fan of anything shadowlands other then the raids but blizz rarely fails at that.

he ask “how is pvp gear welfare gear”? Read

Paid shills come to the forums to attack people.

Thanks for the advice guys. I revisited the other MMOs I played when I was bored of WoW. (ff14, Guild Wars 2) and playing those REALLY make it hard to stay away from Warcraft.

It’s just an abusive relationship at this point. I’d rather play a broken WoW than other games.

Same exact reason I’m here on the forums checking out the current state of affairs. Ran through the FF14 story line, played through ESO current content, though still play ESO casually - ESO’s really fun game, just not WoW if you get what I mean. Hope you find what you’re looking for.

Right now I personally like to Raid log/some farm/some heroics but when I’m not playing WoW I’m playing D2 R. I hear New world is fun too but no end game. Great time to be a gamer!

I changed servers from Sulfuras to Faerlina because the only low level action is people offering or buying boosts. Same problem, different server. =P

Getting to 70 and such won’t be a problem.

If you plan to raid or do heroics, it will be harder as there’s just not many people doing them like before. Gruuls/Mag don’t need attunements but the others do.

It depends on your daily play time. I mean if you aren’t going to even hit 70 for another month or so, I’d say you are gonna have a hard time experiencing end game. Because it’s gonna take you a long time with that pace of building up rep, getting attuned, farming pre-raid gear etc.

I joined very late, and should hit 70 within a week. I’m in a guild full of people currently doing the same on alts, so will be forming progression raid groups.

Now as far as pvp do I expect to be able to step into the arena now and farm up to 2.2k mmr? ehhhh no

Retail I just lost interest by the second big patch of the expansion. Especially now I have no interest in going back and farming 70+ renown for a new BiS covenant because the one I had got nerfed for my class so now I need to start over.

if you want to do it for the experience then you should but once youre behind youre behind unless you have friends to help you gear

would honestly wait until season of mastery or wrath classic tbh if you really wanted to play classic

Make sure you play on a mega server like horde Mankrik and you will be fine. You can pug all of the content including SSC and TK if you want. Or get a guild, which is also not hard.

I wonder about this as well.

I’ve been on retail since 2009. My guild finally retired in the mids of BFA. So, I’ve been drifting.
I’ve played classic vanilla, like it, but I do much prefer playing tbc and wrath as that was when I first came into the game, and just missing tbc.

I’ve been playing for about 3 weeks now. I have small characters on both Mankrik, and Westfall. Chat is active. Mostly looking for raid fills, only guilds looking for raid fills.
I haven’t got an invite yet, nor has anyone noticed I’m guildless on a classic game.

other then that, I’m farming and having a lonely good time watching other players mess up xD

After doing covenant dailies on retail, I’d rather not go back. I love Sylvanas, but hate the story, Same with legion. My two favorite wow hero’s and the story blows! Better do right by arthas bliz! He’s coming.

I decided to give it a go. I’ll be in outland by weeks end and 70 by end of next week. Even if I don’t make it far after that it feels good to be able to play a version of the game I didn’t realize I missed so much.

If only retail had this same feel.
