If someone is feeling burnout playing a game it’s simply best to take a break and play other games.
If you are feeling frustrated with WoW take a break.

That’s one opinion. To me WoW is better than it’s ever been. Not being a group player the addition of Follower Dungeons, Delves and Story Mode Raids has made all the difference.
You can just leave you know? Don’t have to make a post about it. Maybe tell your discord friends or w.e. I don’t get what you’re trying to pull with your armchair suggestions. I don’t get nostalgia players. Worse than streamer watchers that think their streamers are close friends. Nostalgia players acting as if wow raised and cared for them or something.
Like is it such a hard sell that times have changed and the game has changed to accommodate to the newer players.
Welcome to the art of deflection, procrastination, and distraction.
AHAHA yes I loved that. I’m also playing the French version too and I think it has better voice consistency.
Saurfang challenging sylvanas was stupid
Because they’re too addicted and never will. I take breaks, sometimes long long breaks. I skipped wod, majority of BFA, bought shadow lands and quit that until DF. I’ve been playing since vanilla and I take huge long term breaks.
I don’t know what you people are looking for in a game but. Once the dopamine hits you’re done and move on.
Y’all acting like wow is a career or a new relationship. Honestly it’s sad. I’ve played wow/Poe/league and other random games. I’m taking breaks constantly after I had my fun but I’m not yelling in the airport door before I leave every time.
I could be wrong but it may be too soon to really evaluate Microsoft’s leadership. It very much sounds like this entire trilogy was already planned out prior to the acquisition. That doesn’t mean we can’t evaluate come Midnight but I’d say TWW might be a bit too soon.
Good to know that the bugs in the game, one leading to losing decades worth of pixels for some, and laying off tons of employees (including the QA department) was planned in advance prior to Mircosoft buying them, and wasn’t a direct result of Microsoft buying them and being greedy.
The buggiest the game has ever been.
The least amount of effort put into fixing things because so many were let go.
All part of the plan!
Phew!
Sure am glad some didn’t miss the forest for the trees on this one. Special indeed.
No.
And i never said I don’t enjoy the game playing alone now or with the very few friends who haven’t bailed, like the girl who pays my sub so I’ll play with her.
We have fun.
But it’s a pale shadow of what this game could have been, and even what it once was.
hasn’t been a better time.
oooooo, the kid who takes personal offense when someone justifiably criticizes the corporation who formed their primary personality traits covers his eyes and ears and stomps his feet until realists leave. So stunning. So brave.
So just to clarify. You took a long break previously, then you came back 5 years ago, didn’t like the end game changes, and it took you 5 years to realize you didn’t like the changes?
I don’t watch details or have any idea what my dps or heals are like lol. I used to years ago but to me it’s more fun not knowing. No one has said anything so can’t be doing badly lol.
You don’t need to do IO and all that other stuff. Find your people.
Update:
I re-installed new world, looking for that realism factor and all those small details I was looking forward to and as it turns out they removed crafting of all ammo types including arrows, so that throws it out the window. Really bummed out they removed rifle cartridge and arrow crafting.I was looking forward to it. Said to myself “if i’m going to play a game with unlimited ammo i might as well ditch this and go right back to wow” I almost un-installed it right then and there when I found out.
I came back to WoW shortly after.
Ive been doing the arathi zone quest lines and trying to hit renown 14 with them. I usually dont do any questing outside of main story progression and historically anything up and above that I usually speed run and dont read any text (my bad).
But so far the arathi stuff is not too bad.
I didn’t rush through the quest lines,
I took my time and read all of the text dialogue and let myself get a bit immersed in the story.
Not gonna lie, I had a pretty good time.
Maybe ill continue to chase story lines in WoW for the time being and see where that takes me. Maybe this is what I was looking for?
I think thats nostalgia and unrealistic expectations talking.
Personal offense?
What “end game” you playing lol
Why play an MMO then? Lots of single player RPGs out there.
Blizzard trying to appeal to everyone has watered the game down so much and split their efforts and player base into all these “pillars” that there is virtually no community left. Retail end game is small bite sized content. We went from a 5 star luxury resort to Holiday Inn Express. Sure the breakfast is included but it’s powdered eggs and cardboard sausage.
