Fantasy or 40K? I understand 40K there are several character types that are gender exclusive. I’m not as keen on fantasy.

I can’t decide whether to be a night elf druid or hunter. Part of me wants to be a druid but I can’t tell if it’s strange being a female druid once I get later in the game. Does anyone think it will negatively affect me later on story-wise?

Since I play on an RP server, it seemed natural that I would be a male night elf for my druid since that’s the lore. However, there are plenty of bouncy female night elf druids on the server, so I don’t think anyone cares that much.

The lore changed with WoW, there are female Druid NPCs. Put it to that the Druids opened their circle up to women with the loss of so many in the past.

Male night elves are probably the worst looking model on the alliance side. Female Night Elf druid is 100%. Horde side, its the opposite. Male Tauren look way better than female tauren.

but Shadowmeld isn’t as useful to a druid since you can already stealth

I heard that, while not in the tooltip of Shadowmeld, night elves have increased stealth or a lower chance of getting detected while in stealth (prowl).

I had never thought about it, but now I realize elves in Warcraft 3 had a gender-based labor division, with women taking care of the physical combat (shooting arrows, riding horses, melee combat) and men were the support units.

I propose a ban on male Night Elf hunters and Warriors and on female Night Elf druids.

If they didn’t have this restriction in Classic WoW, all races should be able to be demon hunters in retail.
