Is this to serve any point other then rile people up? Even if you want to argue against it being trolling, it sure doesn’t make people reporting it as such wrong for seeing as such.

As long as a post is 95% about Classic, and the only way retail is brought up is to make fun of people that don’t like Classic…

Its about intent. If a person makes a statement that has no other value than inciting others, then its trolling. What other value could that statement possibly have had?

He isn’t making fun of the people who don’t like Classic, is where you’re mistaken. He’s making fun of the people who actively come to the Classic forums to talk up this big game, like
“Oh it’s not as good as you remember, oh it’ll be boring, oh Classic sucked” and continue to do so, despite how well received Classic is so far.
So you’re operating on a false premise. He’s jabbing at the people who are being hostile towards Classic.
I still hold to the idea that if a game copied classic completely, game mechanic-wise, and just wasnt on WoW’s IP…it would fail miserably in today’s market.
Its 100% about nostalgia.

If you don’t understand how that’s an accurate description of ANTI-classic, then frankly I’m not going to waste my time explaining something so simple.
I mean, you’re literally complaining about people talking about a topic you dont want to talk about. Rather than simply… participate in one of the hundreds of other discussions on this forum, you instead choose to enter the one discussing the very topic you hate and berate people for doing so, as if this entire forum should exist to cater only to your whims and desires.

I am saying that the OP gave zero indication that specifically he was only talking about people that come to classic threads and talked negatively about classic.
“Anti-Classic” can cover a ton of ground. I am not going to assume its a super small niche of it without being given anything to go on.

Yeah. I think classic discussion should be in the classic sub forums.
Just like I think non wow video game discussion should be in the Off - Topic “Other Games” sub forum.
Or sports discussion should be in the “Movies, TV and Entertainment” subforums.
And I love talking about those.
