Is it possible to invite myself to my guild in Cataclysm? If so, how?

No, you will need to find someone else to invite you to the guild. So snag a friend.

Yes once the guild recruitment finder is up and running you can post an ad for your guild, then search for it and invite yourself. For now though you can not.
