Is it possible to *ignore* a classic forum poster?

One of my least favourite people now has a classic character, and I’m not sure how to hide them from my view once again. Is it possible?

How do you even post with a classic character? I’d post on mine if I could figure it out, but I don’t have the option.

I doubt any actually cares…it all pays for retail anyway

Getting people to pay to play 14 year old content like it’s something special is the best video game idea ever.

Money with almost no development cost.

The only time I noticed someone was posting on a Classic character was when I saw their female dwarf icon. Which was bleh. Other than that I don’t pay attention to that kind of stuff.

And FF7, Skyrim, Baulder’s Gate, All Grand Theft Auto games, etc…

No reason to take risks with new IPs when people are more than willing to pay you over and over again for the same product

To answer your question, click on your portrait in the top right, then the bell to option the notifications area, then click on preferences, and users, to get to here:

You can type the name of anyone, classic or not into the mute or ignore parts and it will bring up a list and just pick the portrait icon that looks like the person you are looking for.

Just like classic players were salty when SL launched and retail was doing better. It’s a routine cycle and Blizzard gets paid either way, so this rivalry makes no sense.
