Is it no longer ok to assume an in game mechanic is working as intended?

This is one of those clear cases where a player knows something isn’t working as intended, and I would normally support the ban, however…

So many people have done so much exploiting of bugs this xpac and faced no consequences it wouldn’t be fair to start now.

But there is a timer… Sorry not going to find sympathy from me… Does Blizzard need to fix their game, absolutely… but I have no tears for exploitation… None.

Hope you aren’t touching your professions then, I heard Alchemy has a similar issue with Phial Mastery

Did either of you have tailoring specced into chronocloth or azureweave? If not, please stop making assumptions.

Ok fokes we have a lot of lag due to too many players…
Put something in game that’s really new and so popular to do.
Then ban the users who do it.
Brilliant!

I’m on your side, read what I replied too.

He compared the tailoring issue to finding a mining node that instant refreshed.

Two different scenarios and two different levels of knowledge of what is normal or an exploit.

According to Wowhead comments, looks like people are getting their bans overtuned!

I can confirm mine was just overturned thankfully.

Good if people are getting Bans overturned. If people exploit knowing they are exploiting then so be it. But there is so many things in DF that are not of a standard at launch that I would expect from Blizzard, so personally I wouldn’t know if I was exploiting something or not.
And with the detailed instructions that come with games now a-days, I could fully understand why some people may legitimately not have read things. All of this game is on personal discovery and assumption/ or read forums/wowhead after the event.

Suspensions, not bans.

Dude you’re blowing this way out of proportion. Take off your tin foil hat and just give blizzard a break

I don’t know. I double checked when my Herbalism’s Overlod ability would knock an hour off the CD each time I gathered more, in order to ensure it was all legit.

We need to stop the antiquated, and completely erroneous, mindset of any company releasing fully tested and bug free products. It has practically never happened, and not a focus the way companies need to release product.

Stop slurping on Blizzards balls.

They didn’t have timers, lmao.
How you miss the issue this hard, after being 200 comments deep? Hahaha

If there isn’t anything in game to suggest that’s not typical, yes, that should be fair game. It is not on the players to determine whether the game is working as intended or not, but on the developers to present that information.

Once presented, different story, but presenting on a third party platform days after is not sufficient

Trying too hard! There’s a difference and you know it.

Ok Boomer! :man_facepalming:

Nope sorry i played since Classic but hated the crafting system. I tried it in this expac an its better but kinda pointless to me as pvping is gona get me everything i need.
I also wpvp an jumping into dungeons removes bounty or the 20s log out. Since you cant fly, im not keeping track of time while doing bgs an Wpvp.
God forbid a system i have avoided that HAS BEEN REWORKED from the original like many other aspects i come back to try unaware of the situation an boop i could now catch a ban?? Idk man seems pointless considering the key farming an Zenoth egg I cheesed for a mount amongst other things.
Or alliance getting more honor per win despite our massive win rates because of the requirement buff for low player ques. Wins were alotting me like 700-800 honor I geared in 6 bgs full slotted then honor capped by the end of the day fully upgraded 3/5 honor gear out of shear bordem.
Should i have been banned for just pvping knowing there was a clear bug?? OR should i have stopped playing all together?? Effectively being barring me from a major component of the game??
