Is it just me?

I mean is it surprising after, “We rather you don’t play Demonology”?

Did you not know? Warlocks don’t play WoW anymore we just live and breath on the forums. We’re the bastard child of blizzard

I still love you and appreciate you, Warlocks. You make the best candy and summon me when I’m too lazy to take the flight paths. <3

I am still awaiting a 3rd spec and more abilities, forget things like synergy and spell interaction.

If I could I would share the recipe with you, but as it seems we aren’t even needed anymore. We’ve been replaced by cookie vendors that just sit outside dungeons. This was my way of life and it’s ruined :frowning:

Because:

"muh damooge is all that matters

I WANT BIG NOMBURS! Many big yellow. Big bada boom!

If my main spec isn’t top of the DPS chart on every boss fight Blizzard is trash."

*Edited for clarity. Not directed at you.

What? I don’t even touch afflic with a 10 yard stick, I’ve never cared about numbers. I just want my class to be fun, is that really that much to ask? I would still play Demonology even if it did worse damage then tanks because I love the spec.

I can’t tell if you’re just trying to insult me but if I cared about numbers I would have rolled a boomkin or fire mage a long time ago.

What did a warlock do to hurt you?

The proper answer would be yes

I wasn’t insulting you. I was answering you. That attitude is partly why classes were homogenized. Too many facerollers want Candy Crush instead of immersive gameplay. I hit button and game go BRRRRRR!!!

Edited my previous reply. lol

You wanna compete for raid time? You gotta have the numbers to back it up and warlocks don’t have those numbers.

Sure, they can play another class that’s currently meta, but that kinda hurts the RPG feel of the game when the class fantasy you like is unlikely to see much play outside of maybe one spec.

I miss demonology… It was fun.

Oh yeah I totally agree! It’s such a stupid priority since classes will never be balanced perfectly. The reason we see so many meta classes currently is because no spec has identity. If your spec actually had identity you would be encouraged to play it even when its not super viable.

Been MM since they broke Rsurv in 6.2 so I have never been meta

It’s a the catch-22 of MMOs.

You gotta be optimized to get into content, but some classes will not be perfectly optimized for fast/relatively painless clear times.

So you either gotta shelf your favorite class for the expansion or just pick up a hoe and shovel and get to farming anima the entire expansion. :c

Yeah, I wish they would improve it too.

I’ve seen a lot of people praise FF14’s class design, but… I don’t see much improvement there either, at least for DPS, as many of them have the same combo style builder rotation with a unique resource or spender. I can understand how it’s hard to have unique classes and balance, but there has to be a solution.

as a warlock main for majority of my wow career… yes. i agree. this might be the worse design our class has ever had.
return to mop…

In my opinion, playing a non meta spec is super fun. I really enjoyed playing MM in BFA since you would never see them in m+ but if you were a decent enough player you could easily pump.

I don’t know why meters were bought up at all.

Warlocks play like absolute piss. That’s why I benched my previous main Warlock. And then I benched my entire account. I miss enjoying playing a Warlock. I still visited the Legion class hall regularly all through BFA because the class theme was so solid.
