It’s not just lounge for me. The forums in general are sluggish and I’ve had a few 502 errors. WiFi on Firefox mobil.

That is also my current theory and I passed it on hours ago. The .json has the whole post history in it or something, which it did not used to have. That bloats it insanely.
I will take a guess that threads with a lot of Green converted accounts posting breaks the loading - the .json files with the whole post history are huge.

My fault i was trying to use FF min on the wow forums and kyzera got hit instead be gratefull i didnt try polymorph.

Vrak trick and it does work.
I went to a random post that I already had been to. Let it load. Do something else. Then scroll down and take breaks as it loads. Eventually you get to the end and can post. I think I went to like post 180 or something.

For interest sake, have any of you MVP folks swapped to an alt, and had a non MVP person/friend eyeball that character’s forum profile along with your main? Do the tags match?
Not trying to put a bullseye on anyone, or make anyone uncomfortable… Just wondering about what just got introduced.

Hmmm, judging by it, I think there might be some similarities to what it looks like to how it used to work on the old forums. Some, but not a lot.
I’m very curious though on what is to come, whether there is a huge change comming to the forums, or there is testing to be done and Blizzard is using the MVP’s as guinea pigs.

It should show the battletag [text name-randomnumber] under the char name - or some version of that.
The Battletag is not the real one. The first part is right (although not unique) but the unique identifier number in a real Btag is replaced with a random ID generated just for the WoW forums. Nobody can send anyone else a Btag request via the WoW forums.
The idea is that the forums should have a single account back end for Ignore, Likes, Flags, post history, Trust level, etc. Just like it used to. Then we should be able to pick posting chars for avatars.

Testing. It MIGHT have let me switch. I had one option to chose from for alts.
It did not change my avatar so I suspect some parts are still either not playing well with all browsers or maybe not working.
EDIT - on the good side this alt is green so my forum account permissions are at the top level! Woot! Previously each character had to be manually added to the MVP list if I wanted to post in green on it. Not that we are allowed to really switch alts to speak of.

Mirasol, the ignore works account wide towards the MVP’s. I put Ka on ignore, and not only was Ka on ignore, but Kyzera was on ignore.
