Sorry for the title, got no other way to put it. Basically, I can load up the forums just fine. But as soon as I enter the CS Lounge, I am greeted with this:
And will stay like this until either I close off the tab or put in the URL for the Customer Support Forums. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is this just an issue on my end. Does anyone have any possible solution incase it is just me?
It is not just you. The CS Lounge thread in particular I can’t get to load. Same in Firefox or Opera.
Other threads like this one load. GD works. Just the Lounge. I have not tried enough threads to see if others do it too.
The forums are also a bit slow overall.
I blame Kyzera with her wonky avatar and display!

Me too. Since everything is slow, I was assuming something maintenance-related and it’s worse with bigger threads. Haven’t tried any of the massive ones in GD though.
Noticed the forums seem to be loading slower than usual for the past few hours.

My Summary page for my forum activity now shows the URL as [BnetAccountName-FakeRandomNumber]
THINGS are happening! Looks like they are going to Bnet level on the back end, but not displaying our unique number after our Bnet name text.
I have so many things to poke.

But that is odd, my sumary page still shows me as character-server.
They have not done a full rollout. They seem to be using MVPs as some guinea pigs!

Well, I hope this is the update to the forums that is really needed. But just going to have to wait and see.
Anyways, it seems someone was able to enter the CS Lounge, but I still can’t access it. Even tested to see if I could post from a different character, and yeah. But other larger threads, such as the LGBTQ+ megathread in GD I can access fine, and that is a bigger thread at the moment than the CS Lounge.
Could it also be possible they’re rolling out the backend stuff in batches?
Maybe the forums were not prepared for patch day.
I was able to get in, then as I waited it chunked out parts of the thread until it finally arrived at the end. Took awhile, but it worked!
Been kind of happening to me for the last few days. Along with new posts in a thread I have open doesn’t show new posts right away.
The servers appear to be currently on fire.

The forums are either very laggy for me or I get 504 server errors. Get a forum software that actually functions Blizzard.
This is not the place to tell a company what to do, especially when the 504 has nothing to do with the forum software, but more of the website itself.
I wonder if the forum servers are being DDOS’ed? I don’t know how they’re hosted compared to the game servers; I had the impression that they’re sufficiently distinct that what happened to the game servers might not affect the forums, and vice-versa.
Nah, no DDoS. The staff is working on stuffs (as seen in some replies above).
