I was thinking of transferring my toons to more populated realms like Atiesh and Pagle and was wondering, will it be significantly harder to find herbs/mining nodes in these realms at all, given their high population? How can I make gold then?
Usually. In the past, there’s been a lot of forum suggestions from those on mega servers to increase node spawns.
I know that Pagle had a lot of drama with resource nodes, but I don’t know if anything has changed in the last few months. Hopefully, someone on there can answer.
Don’t come to pagle unless u just want to farm felweed and the other low tier herbs. Terocone is not existent. Nightmare vine is the same way and just forget about mana thistle.
If u transfer to pagle fill your bank with herbs that’s what I did on my ally druid before transferring from windseeker I had 30 stacks of every herb. Still have 12-20.
I’ve been farming the lower herbs to sell so when I have to start buying the main ones it won’t hurt as much.
Months ago before the mass exodus of players transferred off my server it was impossible to farm terocone, netherbloom, nightmare vine, and mana thistle. I was beyond frustrated and I unsubbed. I picked up herb/alchemy Bc that’s how I was able to buy my epic flying back in OG tbc. I came back a week ago and I made 600g yesterday from haste, destruction pots, and some flasks I recently discovered. All the herbs I once couldn’t find are plentiful. Yes some people are still around farming but I’m having much more success. The key is to pay attention to LFG channel and see when the raiding guilds are raiding and post your auctions on those same days around the raid times. Anyway long story short, yes you can make gold on low pop servers. But it’s a struggle to gear alts if you get bored with your lvl70
