I’m leveling a paladin for Wrath with the intent of being Holy/Prot (probably like too many are). I’m trying to decide between Mining/Engineering or Mining/JC. I’ve never had Engineering, but I keep reading it’s a must-have. Is is really that good?

Take whichever one you want, or slot both and use a different character for mining. Engineer is not a big deal, no matter how much elitists want to claim.

The only one that was specifically mentioned was Human (EMFH). But that doesn’t mean the door is closed for other racials.
So far, aside from changing the name to be “pc” that’s all just talk too

It’s all just talk until the final game is released. That goes for LFD, Faction change, race change, racial abilities, dual Spec, and anything else they decide to additionally discuss/consider.

If that happens, and sub numbers end up dropping, I can assure you they’ll start adding features back in. They won’t let WOTLK Classic die like that… I don’t think.
If you have an alt that can mine, I’d do both JC/Engineering. Engineering in wrath has amazing items:
- Jeeves - Reusable merchant/repair
- Moll-E - Portable mailbox
- Two more mounts
- And the glove enchant for haste
- Haste boots
There are others but those are the best ones that aren’t related to specific classes. As a hybrid class, JC is the best crossover profession as you can cut things that are good for all your specs.

with nothing else exactly better, they probably would trickle back in.
I mean, if they make any more changes I’m going back to pservers honestly, and there will be no point to come back. We’ll be too far behind.

if someone says no are you going to make a post asking if engineering is bad because you read that it was bad? You keep reading that it is good. do you just need a few more people to say it is, in other words, you need to read it a few more times??

haha, yeah right. private servers with their boosts and times X exp gains. paid gear. lol oh the good ole pserver player that can’t fathom the thought of classic not being pure. please. im going to pservers because as far from the actual thing that they are, they at least have lfd.
wouldnt call it OP but it does give very useful and fun stuff
