Is dispelling World Buffs now bannable?

I can’t believe the number of care bears in here defending this streamer. If you want a safe environment to create your garbage content, roll on a PvE server.

The streamer is a perfect example of a care bear. Complaining about PvP and using his Care Bear Stare to summon a GM.

This situation is different though. He knows a GM and gets the advantage. Crazy stuff there.

That GM should be terminated immediately.

That trash streamer should transfer to a carebear server.

No. Any attention is good attention on the internet.

You want to hurt this streamer? Controversy attracts viewers.

Better to not interact with him at all.

I don’t watch him but left a comment. That maybe he might try PVE server or back to retail.

What does “not pvp” mean anyway? Because its blatantly unfair and you can’t do anything about it? Sounds very uhh, 99:1 server, i bet those alliance on skeram are having enjoyment detracted from an entire faction being griefed off a server, any gms in the chat?

He was in the stream chat, from what I understand.

the fact the GM got a free sub is hilarious

like these idiots didn’t even try to hide their corruption

Must be nice to have streamer privileges.

Right?

It’s not that running around dispelling other people’s buffs isn’t pretty toxic (I think it is), but the streamer was clearly given preferential treatment.

There are entire server communities of people who’ve been ignored for months…and yet this streamer gets catered to within minutes of asking?

Alliance on Skeram got driven off the server the situation for them was so bad. You had people corpse dragging places because there were so many Horde. You had Horde camping in IF hunting Alliance in their own city because there were so many Horde and so few Alliance with relatively trivial guard spawns to help out the Alliance.

Look at all the stuff that’s been ignored for months/was seemingly o.k. compared to this instance…

BTW blizzard the same bot I reported over a dozen times is still doing its rounds in Azshara mining all the RTVs.

Maybe i’ll get a streamer to come mine these ores so we can get him banned.

yeah he was rightfully banned for using a baseline class ability

IP banned? That’s a very easy thing to work around… What’s the purpose of a 6 month IP ban, anyway?

The GM should probably be the one banned. Total abuse of power.
Being banned for dispelling is of course ridiculous, and that needs to be reverted.

The GM should be fired for abusing his privlege

The dispeller deserved it

Maybe you should play the game instead of just sitting around to purge world buffs

PvP should be about killing each other, not self ressing and doing no actual combat

I understand. I don’t consider other people’s word hard confirmation till I see it myself.

I’m concerned, don’t get me wrong.

I’ll try another angle. Punishment should fit the crime, yes? I can’t form a complete opinion without first understanding what the official reason for banning was and how severe the punishment given.

It’s incredibly suspicious but also still circumstantial.

should fire the GM and ban the gm friend. this is not right!!

The people saying dispelling is bad are missing the point.

If Blizzard decided that dispelling was griefing and treated it accordingly, that would be one thing. But they didn’t, and he was not banned for dispelling.

What happened here is the crybaby streamer claimed he was stream sniped, which he wasn’t since he wasn’t even streaming his warrior. He lied to get a dude banned, then rewarded the GM with a sub.

If I did favors for people in exchange for under the table rewards, I would get fired. Same should apply to the GM. I think the streamer should also be banned.
