Is dampening really needed?

I love the current little burst high sustain fast game meta tbh. Thought it was a bit much. Got better at healing and all the burst got toned down. Loving it now.

Id really like them to cap dampening at 50% but how high it starts and how fast it ramps is fine with me.

Oh thats simple, delete priests.

You can’t drink in solo shuffle anyway, and removing the ability to drink in 2s/3s would hurt some specs more than others

It’s silly that this is the game we play, all healers heals should cost mana. Removing drinking (in a perfect world) should hurt healers equally.

Huh? When?

In wod they had a stacking buff basically opposite to dampening which increased the damage you dealt. It lead to comps like double blood dk and brew/boomy which would basically just live until the buffs were high enough to just kill people in a stun. Think it was called Favour of the Crowd or something like that.

Blizzard always takes the least difficult solution to a problem.

Yea, dampening should only apply to healing classes, not DPS classes that have SELF heals built into their damage rotation. I hate playing my frost DK because of this.

Yes. I hate long games. I absolutely hate them.

I want absolute pressure right out the gate with no longer than 5-6 minute games.

We play 6 rounds after all.

Forgot to mention, if y’all weren’t more reliant on dampening to kill, then Bgs would be an absolute nightmare for healers who would then die in .5 seconds.

that was far different… that only buffed whoever had the most HP (tanks) at a certain point, that was terrible, but different than what hes suggesting
