Private servers also adjusted node spawn rates and many other things that blizzard wonât do to account for higher populations
They expect sharp drop off after holidays. And when Nâzoth drops alot of Retail players will go do that content.
Itâll jump up again at bwl, but yea, thereâs going to be a lot of down and up with classic, the content is pretty finite
I personally think itâs a mixed bag on wether developers of retail are getting their feelings hurt with classic. Alot of things in classic are actually intolerably boring and dull. I mean who really likes grinding the same mobs over and over for gold to respec and buy mounts? Not me thatâs for sure. Not at all

people knew horde dominated pvp servers. they new beforehand that phase 2 would happen eventually. if you donât want to be ganked then rerolling to a normal server is the best course of action.
uh⌠did they? a good number of my guild never played wow after BC and only returned for classic. Our vanilla realm (Stonemaul) was quite balanced faction wise with a slight alliance edge. This is quite a far cry from that.
did you read these forums at any point while leveling? because people have been complaining about it for quite a while. itâs just with honor out itâs a bigger problem because alliance are being farmed.
Sure, I did - but i promise you, the majority of the playerbase do not read these forums.
We had pre and post launch unofficial numbers, pvp was HEAVILY horde sided, people learned that horde had better pvp racials and flocked to them
Honestly the same thing happened on live when they released WM. There just wasnât enough alliance pvping and what was there was outnumbered so they turned it off until there were next to no alliance in Warmode, so Blizzard had to literally throw them a bonus to get them to join, itâs more even now because of the bonus.

Blizzard (and anyone else who is reasonable) does not consider âthe first 2 daysâ to mean âthe next 2 yearsâ.
If you canât handle unusual PLAYER actions for a few days, I advise you not to play this game.
