I don’t want classic to fail. The poster I replied to said take it or leave it … so I mocked him & said okay everyone will quit that will be good
everyone knows this is not gonna be like classic, this is a “noob friendly” vanilla wow edition, stats are different, playability is different, new bugs, etc.

I didn’t know that. They took my $15 because I thought it was classic… The very next day I see this video & feel like my money was stolen… I would guess any classic player has a chance to feel exactly how I do

You want to argue? Lol. I’m a consumer. I thought classic is what classic is… These videos show retail gameplay… I then feel like I wasted my money.
Classic instanced pve = faceroll content for retailers. Just my opinion. But, hey at least I know now that its faceroll for the retailers who couldn’t be bothered to learn the original encounter mechanics and their class abilities. Typical hand holding blizz move. Have fun fan boys. I still have PvP side of it.

Blizzard has a 1.12 reference client. If they say this is authentic, this is authentic. Unless you think they’re lying. Which…is sad.

Oh. It’s my fault that blizzard relaunching classic… As it was… Actually turns out to have retail gameplay. I should have assumed classic relaunch wasn’t actually classic 
.
I said other classic players have a chance to feel how I feel once they experience the gameplay… They may not … but I am a classic player & I feel like this was a waste of money.
You should probably avoid the game. People with victim complexes don’t do well on community driven games.

It may or may not be authentic… When you play the game & it feels like retail… it feels like retail… regardless of what the patch it is or whatever they claim. All I know is looking at the videos & reading other sources about this… That this isn’t classic as I enjoyed it… patch 1.12 was right before TBC launched meaning it effectively nerfed a significant portion of the group gameplay… with blizzard saying that themselves by citing the 1.12 patch then I’m really not interested in playing. Yes it’s my fault for not checking deeply enough… But it’s still sad bc I wanted to play classic

Mogar…at the end of the day it’s 1.12 data fed into Legion code.
Bugs have already been reported and acknowledged that our classic was using legion numbers.
Putting 1.12 data through code that is 7 expansions of changes is bound to produce some oddities.
What else bled through into classic from any of the expansion changes BC up to Legion ? No one knows until a bug is opened and Blizzard acknowledges it.

That’s fair. And Blizz has come out and agreed when things have been pointed out to not be authentic, and said they’re fixing it. And they’ve also come out and said some theories are wrong and people are simply misremembering. At the end of the day we can only trust the Classic devs want to make it authentic, and I feel like they do.
A lot of these issues are people mixing memories from very early Vanilla to the reality of very late Vanilla. Example in this video: pretty much everyone has the absolutely best gear they could have at this level. That was virtually never the case in Vanilla. As players were leveling they’d do dungeons with crap gear. Nothing optimized. That makes a huge difference.
