Is CC ever going to be addressed?

Yes.

This would actually require coordination on teams to lock someone down.

Locking someone down and preventing them from playing a game (that has a fee mind you) should require actual coordination and strategy.

Casters have no problem getting away from me. Warlock’s gate, mages blink, healers bubble, or whatever silly “free reset button” they have.

Well have 2 classes of DR, 1 for “mobility impairment” like roots and stuns and 1 for “control impairment” like blinds, fears, etc.

Monk doesn’t follow under either of these categories. It wasn’t an attack in the least.
Typical forums playing victims.

Wish i could see a vid of your game play. I dont have much dificulty sticking to mages (accept arcane thats impossible) and i would say i have nearly 95%+ uptime on any lock i have faced.
Honestly the only classes i can have a issue connecting with can be a good hunter, Shaman, DH, Arcane, Druid and those are considering they are good. in random BG’s i have very little issue with any class.

I think we might be talking about two different things.

Are you talking about their ability to completely leave an engagement, or their ability to temporarily create distance?

could be. Im just talking about connecting and killing.
Basicly i think cc is a issue but if you can give specific situations you struggle with i might be able to suggest how i get around them.

I appreciate that but I’m not interested in talking about specific 1v1 match ups, at least not in a thread about balance in group play.

You aren’t interested in anyone’s opinion unless it’s to agree with you, need to grow up.

I’m talking about your trinket ability. You have Trinket, adaptation, and relentless. Trinket is already top choice for the most part, strengthening it from your suggestion would make it almost the only choice.

I get that, but the general post does show just lack of extensive play or long term play so I assumed you have the bias of warrior only.

They did a huge overhaul of CC placing it in these categories. I’m a big fan of what they did because of what was before it. It also is easy to understand once you know the different types of CC what DRs off of the other. So when you do line up your rotation you don’t stack same type of CC.

Sure they could be just spamming, but even as a player not talking or coordinating certain addons (one of my favorite fly plate buffs) will show what CC they are currently in and if you have different you can utilize your fear or stun after that CC to keep it going.

I play BGs quite a bit. From helping folks get Grand Marshal in vanilla (only regular BGs) to being a 2400 exp battleground rated Grand Marshal as well. It’s kind of my main thing I do. Not trying to acheive drop, but more so just saying I’ve done my fair share of time in BGs, rated and random. Truthfully not trying to be a dick, just trying to help you out.

So do you have an actual argument?

Just a input… I see both of your side and frankly agree with you both from different angles. Your information is accurate from a competitive standpoint and explaining synergy.
From someone who does not do organized pvp or communicate with teammates its not that helpful…
Feel like you guys are having the 6 and 9 experience. You are both looking at the same issue just seeing it from different angles.

Yes there’s RBGs and then there’s just BGs.

Skimming through your post, I don’t see anything that might be on-topic. Flagged and muted.

Paragraphs 3 and 4 of my reply were actually on topic, if you learned how to read, you dolt. Troll away you incel, troll away.

CCs used to be way worse with many more categories. They’ve made lots of changes to CC like Fear/poly (which now actually breaks on damage) Years ago, you’d be running halfway across the map before it broke. Many CCs have been combined into the same DR categories as well.

This may be true, but the gameplay doesn’t feel any different than it did in 10 years ago.

They might make one little change to make it better, but then they just give classes more CC so things just stay the same, except the game bloats.

True, they have given more… like for locks, we have everything. And then you have the new classes. Idk if maybe it’s just a warrior issue, as I see DHs zip around fine, ww monks the same, DKs just have their ranged and grips. I really just think it might be a warrior issue.

But it can be because, as you mentioned, in a random BG people just spam their CCs on to you and it’s typically the first thing they do. Stuns are the bad thing with multiple people on you, soft cc is usually quickly broken.

You would have liked SWTOR pvp. It had an excellent system that really punished CC spammers.

Which means you get CC’d, pop potion, 3 seconds of play time, and then the spam continues.

Free action potion + trinket + DRs at that point. Also, from your description it sounds like you are complaining when 3+ people are on you (or one warlock, harhar).

What do you use your trinket and potion on? Those should be saved for the 6 second stuns (unless ofc it’s going to save your life)
